How much to charge by the hour( i live in a small low income area)
Do i bring my own cleaning supplies and vaccum?
Please give me some advice on how to make this seem professional when i post it in the local papers and on bulletin boards.

I know people who do it both ways when it comes to supplies... you'll be better off using what you like to clean with, so include those expenses in your bid. Cleaning charges per hour can vary greatly... but I really doubt if you can make a go of it if you charge less than $8 per hour no matter where you live.

Might be a good idea to do a little market research.
Find out what other services in your area are doing and charging, and go from there.
Cause, if you lived near me, I would say bring all your own stuff and clean my house for 20 bucks a week.

try craigslist.com !

Cleaning companies usually provide their own "tools"

I think a reasonable rate would be somewhere between 10-20$ an hour depending on your location and other similar businesses in the area.

One good idea would be to call around and ask for quotes from places that do what you do so can you see what the market rate is

Create flyers to give to your friends and neighbors if you can

Have you tried your local grocery store. There are always signs with pull tabs at the bottom for a phone number. You could do that and see if anyone calls for a cleaning job.
