Hi!
I'm moving to London in december, or january. I'd like to get a job there, to improve my english and I'm wondering what kind of job can a foreigner get, instead of bar staff or waitress? I'll certainly start with it, but do you have other ideas?
Thanks!

What language do you speak? Maybe you could get a job teaching that to Londoners.
Why London? There are many other places around the UK where you could live
Most Londoners and the people who live in the UK are from diverse backgrounds and tolerant so don't worry - as long as our cup of tea is served hot, our glass of beer is served cold and the fry-ups have plenty of ketchup - then the customers will be happy and the workers will get paid.
You sound thoughtful and that is what is missing in town - people who think!
Jobs in IT -jobs in the media - jobs in childcare - Look at newspapers like The EVENING STANDARD & LOOT and all the local papers
I live here (started school in South London) but was born in Ireland with a Scottish grandmother on one side and an American father
and (sometimes!)I call myself English
Good luck - you will be fine

Difficult question to answer without knowing what kind of job you do at home, how proficient you are in English, and whether you are looking for a career or just to work for a couple of years to enjoy London and then head home at the end. The usual suspects - shops, Pret a Manger, McDonalds and the fast-food places, bar work. Hit a job centre when you get here, and discuss your options.

hotel jobs such as bar staff, waitress, porter, cleaner often come with accommodation, that would be an option but perhaps not a big chain unless you are from the EU

And in accordance to her "the adult men are pasty and anybody shall we their tooth advance horizontally". although which ability.
