Yes, their real. But NEVER pay someone to do this. The legit firms never charge you. Don't plan on making a living on this, either. The average pay is $10 and hour, but there are some benefits. For example, you have to go to dinner at a particular place and you get paid $10 to go plus they pay xx$ for your meal. True, you're not making much, but they are essentially paying you to go to dinner. It could be a fun thing to do, but not for a living. For more info, google mystery shoppers and read what they say about themselves. But NEVER PAY for a job.

I have been a mystery shopper, it does exist. Unless you live in a large city, it really doesn't pay much, most of the time they only need you to do it 3 or 4 times a year. They do pay 16$ or more an hour but multiply that by 4. cause it won't take you an hour to complete an assignment. www.shadowshopper.com does cost money to join but they have a very very extensive list of legitimate mystery shopping companies.

I havent been one but I have been shopped by one. So they do exist. I dont imagine you could make a career out of it though...people at the stores would eventually catch on to who you are and then you wouldnt get a very acurate report.
My friend tried the mystery shopper bit. She had to do it for McDonalds. She got paid, I dont think it was all that much though.
She was told what to order and given a list of things to watch out for and report on. She had to pay initial costs for the meals out of her pocket but was paid back for it.
I have thought about it myself but I dont think that where I live ( small community) that I would make much money at it.
If you really want to try then look up the business with the "better business bureau" just to make sure it is legit and give it a try .. you dont know untill you do right?

I hear it all the time too. I applied for it once. They got me in their email chain. They would send me "jobs" saying that they need a person to go here or there during this time frame, BUT they never would contact me. This went on for like two years. I don't know how they pick the person. If it is a hoax, I don't know. They never asked me for anything. They did have my email account though...maybe it has something to do with that. I'll be interested to see what people say about this. Good luck.

you will not make that lots funds as a secret client and a few agencies require a cost to sign up. with no automobile it may well be complicated to do a great number of procuring and maximum agencies basically make it easier to get a nominal value alongside with buying reported products they require a great number of paperwork and comments on how the service grow to be on the shop and kinds on what you think of with regard to the products. in many situations you may purchase the product they like reviewed and each so often it extremely is something you do not prefer. you will could pay for it your self and that they reimburse you alongside with a small value on your artwork.
