Im the head Sales Coordinator for a family owned advertising company....well one of the managers pretty much treats me as a servant in a way. I mean he has a paper shredder next to his desk yet still calls me from the opposite side of the room to shred papers for him! Same thing with the fax machine he has a fax machine 3 feet in front of him yet can't fax his own damn papers. Oh and when I called out sick he threw a fit because he had no one to basically tie his shoes for him if you know what I mean. What is a good way to tell him that I am not a servant?

I Have Just Quit From My Previous Job, But Have Found New Jobs. Currently 2 Offer For Me 2 Choice. One Is In The Beauty Industry, Do Not Need To Work On Public Holidays And Sunday, The Other Offer Is In A Very Well-known Fashion Industry That Needs To Work On Weekends And Public Holiday.

I'm Confuse, Don't Know Which To Choice. Can People Out There Give Me Some Opinion?!?!?!?!

Will Really Appreciate It!

So, I had 4 interviews for this managerial position in investment banking in London. Now, the final hurdle left is meeting this guy who is the European Head. He is coming to my city for business and will meet me in the restaurant of hotel he is staying in, which is 5 min from my workplace.
As the interview is on friday morning, yep tomorrow, should i wear informal businesswear (friday dressing) or normal business attire.

I would like to start looking for a job, and there is a really great job site that I found online. Instead of looking through all of the jobs and applying, I think it would be beneficial for me to post my resume on the site. However, I am afraid that someone I work with might come across my resume, and find out that I am looking for another job. What should I do to avoid this?
Can I post a resume without my name? Wouldn't that be corny and unprofessional?
Any other suggestions?

I have to work with 2 immature people at my job.One is a 59 year old thinks she knows and she is correct on a lot of subjects,Plus 21 year old girl who constantly acts like a child.
These ladies always make sarcastic remarks about everything I do.From my husband losing some weight up to how I live.I used to be good friends with them since they had decided with this critism about my life,I ignore them as much as possible. In fact the other day,I heard them snickering my name but I did not hear what they had said.
I know I could ignore the situation but this is becoming out of hand.
Telling me I should take it to human resources,I am sorry but my place of business does not really care about their employees. They are more concerned about productivity.
What can I do?

I went ahead and sent in my resume anyways to meet the due date. Should I follow up with another cover letter and the letter of reference? It has only been two days since the resume was due. The problem was all of my previous supervisors are now out of state and it took them a few days to get it to me.

A friend recently trold me that if his son did not agree to be available to work 7 days a week he would not get his jobseekers allowance. I am now wanting to claim this but Sundays are my family day and I do not want to work on them. I am willing to work Monday to Saturday all day if necessary.

ow come so many people out there don't like to disclose how much they make at their job. It seems like only people living on almost nothing are willing to tell you. I have tried asking people in certain careers how much they make to determine if I want to pursue that career and I will alway be turned away.

How much do you make if you are willing to answer and type of job?

I've been working at my job for nearly a year. I've enjoyed it and the people are nice but is data entry, very boring and I think it's time to look for something exciting. I am going to try for a promotion (which obvious I'll let my line manager know about). but do I need to let her know I'm looking for outside work? Was only really thinking of telling her if I got to interview stage (as i think she'd give me a good reference). what would you advise?
