I just got a raise from my company. I am a superviser. I got a 3% raise. You dont even want to know how little it turns out to be. Minimum wage is being raised by $1 in my state. My cost of living has gone up also. How is this fare? I have exhausted all avenues with this. Talking to everyone that I can. I now have to quit my job because I can not live on this. 3%!!!!! I was expecting $500 more a month. Is anyone in the same boat?

all my jobs have been like that. They all see me as weird and unusual. And i also see a trend that most americans, except for me are talkative. There has never been another guy like me anywhere i go. I feel kind of like they want to change me or get rid of me, but i dont' want to change, i'm doing my job what else do they want?
I don't do jokes, pretty much everyone gossips and jokes, etc. but i dont'. BUt i speak if i have to. So what's the problem

I've been sending FAX resumes. Applied at the county , applied at some hospitals, applied at most Temp agencies in my city, and there's no jobs. what else can i do? Maybe i need more patience but i'm beginning to feel worthless.

I really want to get a well paying job, I do have one but not nearly enough for a single mother trying to make it so her son can grow up comfortably. I am going to be given the chance to go back to school and get my degree. Seems easy and it sort of is but what do i get my degree in? I dont even know waht job I would enjoy and if I go through that much stress and years of school just to get to a job that is just like the one I have now I will feel like i wasted my life for nothing. Im lost on the fact that is there anything out there that makes a lot of money that I know I will be safe in.

I have asked my bosses for a raise because I make 14.50 an hour have been with the company for three years and was recently promoted to Office Manager.
Here is what I do. I keep track of three bosses, I am the only full time office employee with the best days-on record, I know every job, every invoice, do all of the bookkeeping, clean, run errands, organize...blah blah blah. We are a fairly small town and the only engineering company in the region. I feel undercompensated.

I just re-enrolled in college. I calculated it out and will end up being a December graduate. There is no way I can take more classes to finish sooner in the year. Is December a bad time to graduate and be looking for employment? Should I stretch out my schooling so I graduate in March?

Yeah, I was looking on yahoo jobs, and found a secret shopper job opening. After clicking on the link, I was taken to a website that makes one pay them $20 to give out information on who actually hires those. Has anybody had any experience with those folks?

I am 15 years old, and all the jobs I try to apply for are for either 16 year olds are 18 year olds. I want to earn some more money, and I can't wait until I'm 16 because I just turned 15!! Either give me a site or a place that allows me to work there that you have previously worked at, or just know. That would be great. Thanks. :D
