I'm sure it's been asked before, but I'm going to ask anyway, I don't suppose if anyone knows of a real work at home job? I have no money and I am a mother or 3 children. I had 4 children but one of my daughters just passed away on August 12th. I miss her terribly and it has made it very difficult for me to be able to leave my other babies. I know that it might sound stupid but if anyone knows of any work at home opportunity that really works then PLEASE let me know. I'm not looking for a stupid get rich quick scam. Just something that I can do to help my family out a little and something that I can do and still be near my babies at the same time. Please understand why it has been hard for me to go out and look for a job right now. No mean comments please. Just an answer. Thank you all.

Does anyone have some insight to the description below? Is this a dog eat dog position, very high stress, long hours? It was listed as a job through an agency, with compensation in the 50 to 80K range..apparently entry level....What would a trader actually do? I know that I have the smarts to do it, not sure about applying for it.

International hedge fund seeks to hire a Trading Associate for their evening shifts. Trading Associates will be trained on the firms trading methods and strategies, help process and execute trades and assist with developing trade strategies. Trading Associates will also interact with various internal and external contacts resulting in exposure to several facets of the firm. Candidates will have a BS/BA, strong analytical and computer skills, and be able to perform well in a fast paced environment while handling several projects at the same time.

You can leave but you'll get in trouble. They don't even tell us we have to stay. We just can't leave until they say we can. You could have your shift end at 8pm but you could still be there well after 9pm. We're also only part time.

Do you believe that it's possible to obtain your 'dream job'? I have heard both sides. Some people say "absolutely", while others say, "No. Life is about settling for what you've got. No one loves their job."

What do you think? How do you find out about that 'dream job'?

Sorry folks a repost I know but the one and only time I do I promise. Very Important question for me is all.

Should I take the Job?
My fiancee and I currently live in Banff, Alberta, a nice little resort town, but aftert two years of this we have decided to go home to Ontario to get the wedding planned and spend sometime with our friends and families after our long abscence.

My fiancee sent me a job posting the other day for a postion as a Resort Manager at a Family Nudist Resort about 20 mins. outside the city I grew up in.

The Job offers a decent wage, a condo to live in, and the chance to put Resort manager on my resume three years out of college which is an amazing opportunity. The nudity thing doesn't bother me per se, but how do I tell my parents, and her's for that matter, that I work with a bunch of naked people?

Should I take the Job? They called and offered it to me yesterday.

If they can fly employees from the Maritimes , why not from major cities in ontario?
Im sure Alberta could fill shortages of skilled labor from Ontario ,if the people in Ontario were flown home or given the opporunity , like those in maitimes .
what do you think?

He's a senior staff in his division, months ago his boss has appointed another person to supervise the division. Last week, again and again he provoked all the staffs not to listen nor report to the supervisor and the climax is he instructed the staffs not to come to office last Saturday (they have a special agreement and additional fees to work on every Saturday) while at that time his boss is out of city and the supervisor is all day meeting. He instructed how to answer if the boss asked so that they pretended that they were in the office. Now the boss found out and gets very angry until this moment, all the staffs has apologized with the boss except him.

I have a full-time job and two free-lance jobs as follows:

1) Job 1-- full-time job
2) Job 2-- freelancer; previously I worked in their office for 2 years (part-time then full-time)
3) Job 3- solely freelance

How should I list it on my resume?

Should I put consultant? How do I address Job 2 where I was both an in-office worker and a freelance worker?

Working for the federal government is NO easy task to get into let me tell ya! I have been holding out for that ONE good opening and now Bills are due. Am I defeated or is this just a lesson in patience?

I have a pending misdemeanor allegation and am going through a bunch of job interviews. They love me, but when they run the check the pending litigation comes through and they won't hire me. I need to find a company that does not do criminal background checks.
