I'm wondering where you live and how is the job market in that area?

Here in Michigan, our unemployment rate for the state average (instead of by metropolitan area) are currently at 7.1%.

I accepted a position a month ago and now I find out the manager was not completely upfront about some of the aspects of the job including working long stretches without a day off. I have a new job offer that I am considering accepting. Should I make a move after only a month in this job?

All your work is complete and there's no point starting another project now. You've got 1 hour to waste before the end of the day, so what's the best way to make the time fly by?

I wore BLUE sunglasses during the interview on a normal cloudy morning, sitting inside a restaurant!!
After 4 rounds of gruelling interviews for Investment Banking manager role, I had the final interview just 15 minutes ago. So, this guy who is the European head came to my city for business and asked me to join for breakfast in a restaurant.
I had conjuctivitis infection this morning so I decided to wear sunglasses. I borrowed from my roomie, who only had this techy FU*KING blue sunglasses. Interview at 7.30am, no shop open so I ended up sitting in front of this European head wearing my sunglasses during the whole interview.
I explained him the situation, but guys sincerely, do u think I still hav chances to get the job.

As a supervisor at Shoppers Drug Mart, I am expected to be a cashier, stock person, cosmetitian and"gopher" to the store. At the same time being treated like a door mat by upper management, not to mention by bitchy customers. All, this for barely more than minimum wage. Are all Shoppers Drug Mart stores run the same way? FEEDBACK PLEASE?

I'm just looking to make a little extra money on the side.

I am not talking about Ebay or selling items you buy. How many moms have a legitimate business? Check out www.internetmarketing.transitiontoolkit.com. My husband and I started doing our websites 11 months ago, and now we are incorporated and we work about 2 hours per day! My husband turned in his 2 week notice to his job and we are going to be at home. Right now we are making a little more than $10,000 per month. The woman who wrote this book is awesome and she has a money back guarantee! I believe everyone should have a chance at financial freedom!!!
