I've been looking for a stable job for more than a year now. Girl, I know how you feel. It's very hard to find one, especially with my B.A. What you can do is to find a volunteer job during your search. It seems like everyone saying that two or three years of experience is more important than a college degree. I don't know what's going on. Well, we have to hang on and hope that others quit so we can get their jobs.

Job searching can be depressing. It's tough since the economy is slowing down a bit. I would suggest seeing a career counselor. I saw one recently actually to figure out how to improve my job search strategy. Some areas offer free career placement and counseling for free..be sure to check the internet or library for places that offer it. Also, be sure your resume is up to date and you are using all of your resources. Networking, using online job boards, newspapers, etc. Be sure to research companies in industries of your interest..that way you have a better chance and target them.

In order to take a break....try going to the park and taking a walk. Everyone needs a break now and then...doing an intensive job search feels like a job. Working out also helps...and it relieves stress.

Go to www.monster.com and www.jobsearch.org and post a resume.

Then go there frequently to see what jobs are available.

Cheer up because anything negative is just temporary. Remember that!

Good luck.
