My suggestion would be a nice blue, black or grey skirt or pants with a nice pale dress shirt.
I have a lovely two piece charcoal grey woman's suite with a pale pink shirt. It is conservative with out being too conservative.
You want to dress to impress the prospective employer. So no old nasty holey blue jeans. Those are for your off hours.
Take a deep breath and knock them over with your personality and professional look
Good Luck

Try some slacks, black or brown, with a nice blazer. Wear a white shirt underneath, a classy one, not like a t-shirt, and some black shoes, heel or no heel. Basically, don't overdress and don't underdress. It depends basically on what your applying for. SELL YOURSELF(crap....that sounds bad) But beat out those other people who are trying. Sell the best of your qualities, and just dress nicely. Answer honestly...but *points to 2nd to last sentence* Show them what you've got, and act confident, but not cocky....you know

crap....instead of what to wear, I gave you the speech i was told all the time. lol

There is that rule(if it could be called that): when going to an interview you should dress one "degree" more official than the way you will dress when going to that work if you are hired. So you should know how other people (your future colleagues lets hope) dress.
Good luck!

you should ask the recruiter or hr professional what's the dress code policy (if any) for the company you're interviewing with. when in doubt play it safe and ALWAYS dress business casual.
