He is just an ***. You should talk to him and ask him to email a list of things he wants done and maybe ask him to prioritize them. This way there is no "you never told me that" type thing going on. Email is good because you have a record of everything he wants done. That way if he forgets to tell you, it's his fault.
It will also be easier on you. You don't have to keep all these different things in your head. You can look at the list, do something, and then go back to the list.

Every boss is stress. You just need to learn how he operates and move along with him. when he starts speaking stop what you are doing and listen. The stress will be less as opposed to continue and then ask him what he wants. Remember he is the best person to give you a recommendation so be on good terms

ahh.. yes. He expects you to drop everything when he is talking! If you see him approaching, get out a pen and paper and write down what he tells you to do... then repeat it back to him... tell him, "I just want to make sure I've got this right..." I've had bosses just like this... they are just so disorganized that they think of things for you to do the minute they see you...and everything is a priority with them!!! You being prepared to "hear" him with pen and paper will surprise the heck out of him.. and he might actually slow down and be more specific! If he gets mad at you for repeating what he has said, just tell him that you want to make sure you get it right...

Pray to God about this matter. Nothing is too big for God. You know, we have to humble ourselves. This might frustrate you hearing this @ this time, but overcome it. Humbling ourselves allow us to see ourselves (frame of mind) as well as others. Remember, we can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens us.
