My fiancee and I currently live in Banff, Alberta, a nice little resort town, but aftert two years of this we have decided to go home to Ontario to get the wedding planned and spend sometime with our friends and families after our long abscence.

My fiancee sent me a job posting the other day for a postion as a Resort Manager at a Family Nudist Resort about 20 mins. outside the city I grew up in.

The Job offers a decent wage, a condo to live in, and the chance to put Resort manager on my resume three years out of college which is an amazing opportunity. The nudity thing doesn't bother me per se, but how do I tell my parents, and her's for that matter, that I work with a bunch of naked people?

Should I take the Job? They called and offered it to me yesterday.

I stopped worrying about what other people think a long time ago. If this is something that you and your fiancee want to do, go for it! You're the only ones who have to answer for your actions!

On a side note, there's nothing wrong with working at a nudist resort. Sounds like a great opportunity.

Wow. What a great question. If you don't mind, and she doesn't mind, then I sure as heck wouldn't mind. Of course you also have to think of the future. Will prospective employer's have any issues with hiring a guy from a nudist resort to handle their family friendly resort? My guess is yes and that is where you will begin to regret taking the position.

Hmmmm...as long as you're not doing anything bad or hurtful there should be no reason for your parents to be worried. Just tell them about the job coz if you don't then it means YOU feel working at the nudist resort is indecent. Like there is something for you to hide. Tell them and if they take it in a bad way, tell them that working with nude people is just like a profession in medicine. doctors and nurses are working with nude people all the time.it's just a job. as long as you have clothes on i don't think your parents should have a problem with that. if they don't mind, then all the best to you!!

I think it really depends on how much what others think about what you do matters to you. If you would be okay with what other people think of you regardless of what those thoughts would be then go for it. Who says you have to retire from it and it could be a resume booster. Just think really hard about all that comes with that kind of job (such as can you really look at a beautifully naked person and only see a customer). It just depends on you. Make sure it is ok with your partner and of course PRAY about it.

damn that is a good question.......if it doesn't bother her or you take the job, they don't need to know where you are working.....tell them you would rather not say for fear of embarrasing them.........but then you better check with the resort to make sure they aren't members!!!
