I think the dream job would be something you really enjoy doing that pays you enough to make it worth your while to show up for work every day.
It may not be the best paid job in the world, but the pay is adequate for your needs. The key is that you like what you are doing and want to continue to do it. Good co-workers are a plus.
The first step to finding it is to identify it. What do you like doing that you are really good at? For some people it might be teaching. Others might want to be long-haul truck drivers or airline pilots. The key is that you enjoy it and can grow in it. You have a direction.
Be careful about jobs that trade too much on youth, or beauty or sex appeal. These are assets that can fade away with time.
The dream job would be one you would enjoy into old age.

YES! and when I lived in Denver,Colorado I met the guy that had the Dream Job that I always wanted. He worked as manager of an all female apartment complex. He was 23 years old. He always had a young lady with him at night and many times during the day. He said the job he had required person with a kind and understanding heart. I asked him to explain and he said women would come over at all times in the day or night. He said some of them had just broken up with there boyfriends and needed a willing and understanding person to make them feel beautiful again. Others were lonely and needed warmth and a feeling of being wanted. These things were not easy to do he said unless you didn't mind the company each night and day. I offered to find him a better paying job, {so I could then take his} no he said he would feel like he was abandoning the women there and his personality needed this constant outpouring of kindness and understanding.

I think that if you work hard enough you can eventually get your dream job. Most people just eventually settle for something else since it usually takes a long time to get to where you want.

i love my job and have another job as an ideal/dream but it won't come until i have more experience. i might or might not reach it, but it IS attainable if all the cards play out right. anyway, it's something to dream for, but I do also deeply love the job i have now, too (teaching).

It's very possible. I have a job that I love. I enjoy going to work and I enjoy the work that I do.
It was a bit of a long trip to get here. . .but I got here.
Find what you love to do, and then find a way to do it.

I think if you know what you really want then you can have your dream job. But you have to know what you really want out of your life first. Sometimes it takes a while to get it to where you know what you want.
