I don't work for my dad and this is what I do at work, I've been at my place and never taken a day off sick in ten years. Reasons being, when I was at school my mum would only let me cry off if it was bleeding or broken, set the mentality for life! Plus, having been at my firm for so long I've noticed that when you get something big, leukemia, cancer or whatever, if you've struggled through colds and still managed to come to work they give you more time off on full pay! Obviously we don't want to contract serious illnesses or get in car crashes, but if it did happen wouldn't you want your boss to think "They never miss a day for slight ailments, the fact that they're not here means it's serious and therefore I'd be an absolute B'stard for not paying them full whack"? Don't think short-term when it comes to minor discomforts!

Go home honey - it sounds like you've got the flu coming on - your dad will understand - and look at it this way - the sooner you get home to a warm bed and medicine the sooner you'll nip this in the bud and be back at work healthy and happy
hope you feel better soon xx

Obviously inform your boss that's what you're going to do, but go home!
Partly because you don't want to make your self feel worse. Partly because you will not be able to concentrate well if you're feeling rubbish and partly because I don't think anyone you work with will appreciate it if you sit there snuffling away all day passing it on to them!
Go home, make yourself a mug of Lemsip or something and go and sleep - sleep is the best healer there is!

Take advantage of the fact that dad is boss. He wouldn't want to see his darling child being ill. Get some rest and be bright and breezy for the next day.

I'd say go home and rest, stay at home tomorrow as well, and go back in on Monday well enough to do your job properly.
You're not doing anybody any favours by being there ill - you'll infect other people and won't perform your own job well.

Tell your dad you are not well and you are going home. You are not helping your recovery by being at work, and run the risk of infecting others. Go home, have a warm bath and go to bed with some paracetamol and a warm drink.
get well soon.

personally i would stay the day and then maybe ring in ill the next day if i istill felt bad, because its better fr the boss to sendyou home then to ask to go home. i have never gone to work and gone home withouot being told i should. then the boss knows it was thier choice in the first place.

Go home, get some rest. Don't go back to work until you are well, as being run down and tired will make you more susceptible to further infections.

On grounds of health & Safety alone - go home!!!! - the longer you sit there the more germs you are spreading - the more likely it is for other members of staff to also catch your cold. So GO!!!!!
