Getting a Master degree would be acheiving a a major goal! and it would help with your career if it were relevant to the field you work in, of course.

It can hurt as well as help. For jobs that only require a BA, employers may think you will want higher pay because of your degree and shy away from you. Consider if your career goals require a master's and then go from there.

HI I have an M.Ed. but have found that it was not necessary in what I'm now doing. That's Internet Marketing and I find it to be much more exciting and lucrative than anything I have ever done in the last 30 years.
