So, I had 4 interviews for this managerial position in investment banking in London. Now, the final hurdle left is meeting this guy who is the European Head. He is coming to my city for business and will meet me in the restaurant of hotel he is staying in, which is 5 min from my workplace.
As the interview is on friday morning, yep tomorrow, should i wear informal businesswear (friday dressing) or normal business attire.

Normal business attire, dont dress down.
Friday dressing is not actually that common, we dont do it at my work, and if he is head of Europe, they may not do it in Europe

Definately normal business attire. A skirt suit in navy or dark grey - maybe a blouse in pink or baby blue? Should be quite fitted and feminine. Hair up, for sure. Just a little clear varnish on nails (don't do colours), and unless you have a great tan, then you'll need some nude coloured sheer tights. Don't do black hosiery - it's not a funeral you're attending. I would be going for efficient, professional and effective in my look, but I think you could just sneak away with a pair of fab heels here. If everything else about you is tailored and understated then you could certainly carry off high heels (so long as you are used to them) and I think any guy will appreciate that!! Oh, and always, always be completely charming - that's a definate. All the best - hope it goes your way!!

Dress as if it is a Friday and kiss the job goodbye. It is that simple.

I would suggest a smart, comfortable suit probably in navy or dark grey with smart shoes. You could wear a coloured shirt or blouse but don't go too wild and leave the novelty tie at home. Black socks pulled up the leg are a must for men and I would suggest black or navy hosiery for ladies with comfortable shoes (no 5inch stilettos even if you are short).

Remember this person does not know you from Adam (or Eve) and you need to make a fantastic first impression. Be on time, look smart, invest in a good manicure (yes even the guys), wash hair and keep jewellry to a minimum.

Hope it goes well and good luck

Informal wear to an interview is a death knock. Means you are NOT serious about business. Especially in banking the only acceptable attire is the black wool business suit. You must appear ready to start work NOW, should they happen to need someone immediately.
(ps. Friday wear is currently becoming taboo anytime in the more professional environments)

A healthful is a strong theory. For interviews it really is continually quite sensible to gown more beneficial well than you'll do even as operating at the position you're making use of for. It makes a strong effect on the interviewer. you should in case you had to positioned on a black skirt with an casual authentic and a healthful jacket intense and take off the jacket later in case you get too warm/stuffy. strong success!

Normal business attire - dont risk undoing all your good work with an approach that a guy who hasn't met you could consider slovenly. Better for you to be smartly dressed and him casual than vice versa.

You'll have plenty of time to dress down if you get the job.

Dress as if you were having the interview in the office. DRESS TO IMPRESS! Since the interview is in a restaurant, I would try to find something that is wrinkle resistant, and/or something that is spill/stain resistant too, or at least not white. You don't want a coffee stain on a white blouse.

A dark grey or blue suit (no stripes) well ironed. A sober tie which
can be an old school tie, a look in the mirror will tell if it matches.
Stay away from bright red ties. Black well polished shoes, and
good luck to you.

Even if he prefers informal (and lots of people in Europe do), he is a visitor to your city, and will probably err on the side of formality himself. Go for normal business wear.
