I was hired as a cook in a restaurant and then subsequently moved to a server position. On my pay cheque this week I discovered my wage rate had been lowered by $2.00 per hour! Is this legal? My employer gave me no notice of this change

I had just filed an application online with the Coca Cola Bottling Company. The information read the age requirement which in 18. I'm 24 and just received an email stating they they are looking for applicant who " match their requirements. Please tell me how an 18 year would be hired if he or she has no experience as opposed to a 24 year old who is seeking another job to gain more experience. Who should I talk to or email? I think the employment practices need to change. How is one to get a job when there's too many requirements? Is this deceptive?

I go to a school that's not heavily recruited. But I'm still pulling a 3.9 GPA in ME. I want a hard job in engineering that will let me travel and make me think! For the time being I'd love to just get experience as an intern or at a part time job. Shoot - I'd even slow down my degree progress if I could land an interesting full time position. But I can't seem to find them - internships, part time, or full-time jobs. Everyone wants someone who has five or more years of experience.

Are you an engineer? Do you recruit them? What do you suggest? Thank you!

With so many manufacturing sites, and so many jobs going over-seas, will there come a time when nothing is made in America, or will this trend stop and reverse as more Americans become unemployed?

but I am not her boss. I have to fix everything because she hides away or leaves the office so she doesn't have to deal with the angry customers, or staff or do her work. She thinks I want her job, but I don't! I make more money than her...lol. (She doesn't know that) All I want is for things to be done right so I don't have to hear it from her staff all day.
Plus, if she doesn't do half her job I can't do any of mine. The CEO is quitting and doesn't care.
I am stressed out. I think half the employees are going to walk out this week and customers are going to pull out of the programs!
She is not being held accountable for her actions. Help!
