Gee, you have a job .. apparently a good job, and now you are making 3% more than you were ... so you wanna quit?

Go for it. Nothing is better than something, right?

Just a guess, but an attitude problem might be behind this all ...

I understand that you feel cheated and unappreciated. But in the long run do you like where you work? Do you think they like you and your work? What is wrong with 3% at 40 thousand a year that adds up to 1200 that should keep you under another tax bracket. I see your point!
But, never look a gift horse in the mouth, do they give you a bonus at the end of the year? Do they give you paid holidays? Paid sick days? Paid Vacation?
I suggest if you are unhappy with this raise, you can take time now and look for something else while you are still employed. Remember you will go down in wages unless you can get the new employer convinced you are worth more. If you choose to stay where you are, make yourself more accessible, work when you are asked, learn more about your job and volunteer for more areas in the job. In other words be irreplaceable!!
Good luck, you will succeed, you have the determination!

Yes. Go for better job. Go for the internet business, which requires less of your time and the one that will not make you feel headache with web designing, or which require IT knowledge. Second, choose the internet based company which offer you the opportunity and at the same time giving you the convenience to start the business. Third, choose the business, which does not require big money to start it.

All the above is only available from: http://www.website.ws/powercontrol
Honestly, I tried so many opportunities offered through the internet and this is the only one that really works.

Haha....ironically I just got my review today and I got 3%...most companies give that...because of the job market being so scarce and the economy going down...First...it's not the jobs fault its your fault...they pay what they pay because you allowed it. I don't think you want to quit...I think your mad because you feel under-appreciated...68% of the job force agrees with you. So that leaves 30% of workers feeling appreciated...what are the chances of you becoming that 30%. I think your going to take it...learn to deal with and get another 3% next year...When your finally fed up with it...it won't be a question of should you...it will be a question of WHEN!!!

3% of 100,000 is alot more than 3% of 20,000. If you are making in the upper range of that, I would say get over it or ask for more. If you are making in the lower range, you should probably find another job before you quit.

Wait until you calm down and think it through. Do you have another job to fall back on and what is job availability like in your area - these are things you need to consider. Also, consider how much money you have in the bank to get you through until you find another job.
