I have horrible coworkers that I have caught talking a lot of crap on me recently....and I did absolutely nothing. I come to work...don't talk much...do my job..and go home. Yet they are saying I think I'm better than everyone...blah blah blah...what should I do?

I don't want to dress too professional and don't wanna dress to casual. I don't want my toes to be showing and I don't want a high heel shoe.(I don't know the exact place i'll be going so I don't want to have aching feet). I like skirts and capris but what shoes do I wear to make me look decent and prepared to work for this company. The job is box office representative at a local arena.

I may have the opportunity to take a job doing exactly what I do now, with a 25000 a year increase and benefits. The company I work for now is attempting to obtain health insurance for it's employees. In August I will have my review where I could possibly get a raise. My question is if I am offered the other job, where I will already have insurance rather than wait until September or October, and get a guaranteed raise, should I just resign, or should I offer my current company the opportunity to counter thier offer? If I do ask for a counter, if they refuse I would leave.

I have been working at a non-profit in Washington, DC for two years and am looking for a new job starting right after Thanksgiving. I'm also wondering how much a Development Associate normally gets paid as I've been an AmeriCorps*VISTA with a very small salary ($10K) for these two years. I have experience in databases, event planning, and managing volunteers.

My boss is abusive. HE yells and goes on rampages. He scares his employees to death. Yet he keeps getting promotions and no one admonishes him for his tirades.

Once I tried to leave work one minute early and he flipped out and made me go back to my office until 6pm on the nose.

I am a new lawyer working at a large Phoenix firm. My boss is one of the partners. I don't want to make waves because the legal community is very reputation oriented and I don't want to get a bad rep when I am trying to develop my career. All of the other partners are well aware of his behavior.

He also times employees when they take bathroom breaks.

He yells at employees for writing in the wrong color pen (when it really doesn't matter).

He treats the female attorneys like secretaries.

My coworker comes to work some days smelling like pure *** or ear wax. I feel sorry for her and I dont know what to say or do. She is even aware that they stink and she still wears them. she will walk in saying man i stink but she has no consideration for me.

I am currently working one full time job and one part time job, and I can not even pay my bills. Interested in exotic dancing(stripping). I was wondering how much money I can make in one night. And also, I know some people who have done it before, and they said that you only make a lot of money if you do the real dirty stuff-if you know what I mean. Is this true?
