Psychology? What kind of jobs are you looking at? Think about what you want to do and then pick your major, don't just pick something willy nilly because then you'll have options. By the way I think the most wide open degree is English, it basically shows you know how to communicate which is important in any field. But you need to decide what you want to do when you grow up or at least what you like doing.

A wide range of relatively low paying jobs. Otherwise you have to have an advanced degree.

It is a very hard degree to go and get a job with. You can get administrative jobs but you wont be able to get a really well paying job. If you really want to do Psychology you will need to go and get an MS or PHD.

It seems to help sales people I know with a psychology bachelors be more successful.

A degree always helps but it all depends on how you use it, if you use it at all. I suggest you get your Master's degree as well.
