Yes, I got a temporary job from Monster.com. I did not apply to it either. I have also gotten several in-person interviews and phone interviews. You should try craigslist.org too. I have gotten a job from there as well. I think it might actually be more effective too since it is more regional.

I applied a about 20-30 places through Monster.com and never once heard back form any of them. I got my job the old fashioned way of submitting a paper resume to someone at a desk. It has been about 7 months since I put my resume on Monster.com and have yet to hear from anyone. I guess it is a good thing I found a job without their help.

Believe it or not, when I first moved here to California, I needed a job. So I put myself out on Monster.com, blow and behold 6 months later I found a great job!

Yes when I moved to Dallas Texas I got a job at hotels.com from putting my resume on Monster.com Oh and I liked it a lot better than being unemployed! :)

Same here....lots of phone calls and no results.
Networking and career fair are the best way to go.
