I had just filed an application online with the Coca Cola Bottling Company. The information read the age requirement which in 18. I'm 24 and just received an email stating they they are looking for applicant who " match their requirements. Please tell me how an 18 year would be hired if he or she has no experience as opposed to a 24 year old who is seeking another job to gain more experience. Who should I talk to or email? I think the employment practices need to change. How is one to get a job when there's too many requirements? Is this deceptive?

One trivial reality is that the colour of Coca Cola even as it became first released became "eco-friendly'.

First of all, you don't know who they hired instead of you. They probably hired someone with more education, a better work history, or a person whose application LOOKED nicer. I worked in Human Resources for nearly 5 years and the reason most people do not get hired is that they do NOT fill out the application properly.

You may hate to hear this, but they might actually want somebody with no experience so they can train them their way from scratch. It sucks, but you'll find something even better!
