I need a lawyer with knowledge in both small claims court and landlord/tenant law who is willing to work with me and give free legal counsel. We may or may not be sued by our former slum lords (if you ask me) and i need to have you look over the lease, letter of 'eviction' and the letter i received today telling me that we did roughly $1400 to a house which they were moving back into, and in all reality, all the damage was notated and caused by the previous tenants. I also need to be able to take their inventory checklist from the previous tenants and match the "damages" we caused to that list.

I don't really have any extra money, and once you hear WHY we don't have money, you'll understand why we are appalled that these slum lords are expecting MORE money from us...

I give alot of presentations and a few speeches for a few of my classes. before the speech i am optimistic and not nervous at all. I am not nervous before or rigth before the attention is on me but as soon as the presentation or speech begins it is over. I can not concentrate, have problems even completing sentences, and my train of thought is absolutely gone. it is very noticable that i am cracking to everyone observing. I need help because i do not want to be this way. Thanks.

I have an interview tomorrow, which is nothing new to me. I have interviewed with numerous companies and I'm very confident in my interviews and in my experience, usually. This one tomorrow morning is different. Every job I have ever had in the past has been a white collar job, so it's been easy - suit and tie (I'm a guy) Tomorrow I'm interviewing for the railroad (norfolk southern) as a yard clerk. Now, from what I've read, this is a white collar-ish position within the railroad, but it's still in the yard, within blue collar working conditions...I'm really excited about the job, but I don't want to go to the interview overdressed in a suit, or underdressed in khaki's. I'm not above blue collar work, I just never worked in that area. What should I wear?

When building a Resume, in regards to work experience, is it acceptable to include self employment, even though legally it would be classified as a hobby. It is work experience and made money from it.

It's the holidays. I was given a notice to leave by Dec 15 the latest. I need more time to look for a place. The property I am renting has been foreclosed for months now. BUT i signed a year lease before that. Do I have the rights to stay to finish my lease? Any lawyer out there who can offer their expertise and assistance? How much and and how soon? We need the assistance asap.

One of the financial newsletters was bragging about the money they made in options. They told their readers to buy $180 put options for a stock trading at $218 for $12 premium. After a month, they told the readers to sell the options. At that time, option premium was $15 and the stock price was $182. They are saying that they made 25% profit ((15-12)/12). However, to me, the option is worthless since it is out of money. The option does not have a value until stock price hits at least $182. Even then, you will be still at loss since you had yo pay for the premium. The price has to go down to $170 for you to break even on this investment. Am I missing something?

Hypothetical.. A friend owns a piece of property where she lives on it which has 3 areas for motorhomes where on one her mother and father live, another her sister, and another a friend.. She doesn't have a will or trust and was in a car accident and they are expecting her to pass away this evening.. Very sad..

The property everyone knows will go into probate and I believe will then be given to the closest relative, the parents.. BUt what happens while the land is in probate.. Are they going to throw the families off the land or will they still be allowed to live there?
