A collection agency has threaten to file judgement against me and garnish my wage for the $534 i owe them even when I started paying them monthly. They are forcing me to pay biweekly for $52 but that's too much for me to handle so I started paying them monthly for the last 2 months. Atleast, I'm giving paying them whatever I can pay. Are they really going to take this court even when I started paying them or are they just harrasing me?

This seems to be a new trend. It seems that insurance companies are canceling Homeowner's policies of their customers who are selling their homes! Once the client has to move out to their new home the insurance company cancels the policy on the home that's still for sale. This is being done even if the customer has been a client for over 30 years and is using that company for the new home! Sellers are having a rough enough time with the real estate market these days!
What can be done about this? Also suppose the seller decides not to sell but keep the home as a vacation spot? Are second homes being uninsured also?

This is a UK question. I am 60 and will be leaving my job in the New Year. I have worked in my present job for over 12 years. I would like to take a break before looking for another job. Should I register with the Job Centre immediately or wait a few months? If I register immediately will I be eligible to receive benefit as I left of my own volition? If I wait a few months before registering will I receive less benefit? Will I be pressured into taking a job 6 months after registering or 6 months after leaving my current job? as i'm making some researchs on the escrow account applications in real estate market, i'd like to know:
is there is any idea of how can a real estae developer keep a part of the purchase outside the escrow account?
for example: can the developer make a membership card (used one time) allows the purchaser to get a 10% discount of the purchase price, while the actual price of the card will be more than this as the card gives the purchaser other benifits (free nights in hotels, ruffle on a car, ...)...
