We purchased our home recently and the closing date is Jan.4 2008. Can we pay points and home improvement cost in 2007 and get tax deduction in 2007? Thanks!

I have been shown in the past the papers needed to request the removal of my citizenship of the US...which removes my so called tax liabilities as well..

But I have also heard about an account held by the government in my name called a STRAW MAN ACCOUNT? Supposedly the account is my name and number but all in caps...

If ANYONE has REAL!!!! information about this please speak up!!!!!!

there is absolutly no damage to the apartment. i told him i will give it to him in Febuary the problem is that he threatened to evict for this. and i dont have the money to give him at this very moment.i feel like all this time, why did he wait until the holidays to request this money.can he really evict me for a security deposit?

I have worked for my dad in construction on and off sense I was 8, mostly in the summers and have bin given the keys to the work place. (I mostly worked In a retirement community for people 55 and older, where I built the houses and cleaned and helped up-keep the place. There is also and wetland stream, thats 10ish feet wide that runs about 3/4 of a mile long. I cleaned yearly because algae infested it.)

For the past year I have run sound for my church( setting up and tearing down the stage by myself, and mixing the music. I also have bin trusted to the keys to the church.

So do think I could get a job in places like
subway, game stop, and other businesses in that category.

I am 15 and turn 16 on Feb 6, I have looked into the laws and I would be able to legally work where I live and the places I am applying for

Our car repairing company offers workers with a uniform. At off-duty and not acting during the course of his employment, a uniformed worker took charge of a client's car at the entrance of the repair workshop. The worker then stole it.

Hi

I'm working on a temporary xmas contract for a certain huge company. So far I've had two wages off them; and I was emergency taxed on both. After the first tax, I gave my P46 to my manager. This was around 2 or 3 days after my first taxed pay.

I was very annoyed to find I had yet again been emergency taxed at the end of Nov. My assistant manager said the form will have been dealt with, as does my manager (who doesn't remember doing it though).

So...

1. Will I be able to claim back my taxed earnings before April?
2. Any ideas what my next move should be? Should I talk to Payroll/HR, or should I attempt to speak to my local tax office?
3. Would my P46 have been dealt with in wks or is it a long process?

Sorry for the many questions but this is my first job, and frankly I needed that money for xmas... Now I'm waiting on almost £200!

Might end up having to foreclose through chapter 7. What happens as far as advertising it is a foreclosure? I know it will be published in the newspaper, but are there signs put up on the property, or on the door?

On my one credit card with a $10,500 limit, I missed a payment and the interest rate alone made me over the credit limit. Without moving in with parents I wouldn't have been able to get it paid. Are you criminally liable if you use up all of that credit to buy stuff for yourself, then totally disown the payment? I mean, if it's just a matter of 7 years and a person knows they won't need credit between now and then, how is it that nobody does this on purpose?
