Are atv's covered under homeowners insurance in North Carolina?

Only the liability for it, and only on the insured premises.

So, if you don't BUY theft coverage for your atv, it's not covered for theft. Sorry.

You need to check with your insurer. It is not normally a licensed vehicle and may well be covered similarly to a lawn tractor or other unlicensed vehicle. However, your coverage may be limited to a specific dollar amount unless you 'declared' the vehicle to the insurer.

I am sorry but no. It would have to be on its own policy for coverage for theft.
