I am not understanding the mortgage crises that is occuring right now. There are a lot of people who have lost their homes or are about to. Some people lose their houses because they lost their job or were injured and had a change in income unexpectedly...that's different. What I am not understanding is how people are struggling with their mortgages because the rate set....didn't people know when they made the loan that the rates would reset? didn't they question what the worst case scenario would be in terms of their ability to afford the payments? I guess I don't understand the lack of foresight in individuals. What happened?

My objective is to help pluck out talented artists from obscurity, particularly those with severely limited income (living paycheck-to-paycheck), limited education and resources.

By helping showcase their works in front of prospective large design firms, guild members and other similar organizations, we'd help them get the necessary publicity they'd otherwise never have a chance to get.

To qualify, we'd do a background check of income and work history and we'd check their portfolio to see if it's up to par with presentation guidelines.

I'd prefer to have a showing of their works once a month if some businesses would contribute use of their offices or conference rooms for these events (what they'd charge us to 'rent' out the space would be their tax-exempt cost). They can announce it as charitable goodness on their site and we'd do our part.

I've been browsing several IRS forms but don't know which fits this category...Can anyone with years of non-profit expertise answer?

I was thinking of starting a farm in a few years. I'd like to sell organic chicken eggs and probably grow some type of produce. Does anyone have any tips for starting a farm? I really have no idea how I'd go about doing it?

How do you sell eggs and other produce commercially? Do you need a license or anything?

How can a seller justify price their home $3000 more than the comprable home on sale nearby and the comprable has more bedrooms. If a home is worth the asking price, what is the standard price to offer. Is it $5000 less or more?

I think when I view the property for the first time, I will not only bring an RE expert, but also an appraiser so I can get a better idea on the true value of the property. Has anyone ever did this before?

I have recently graduated from college and looking for a full time or part time position to supplement my income while I am in graduate school and to gain some professional experience in the workplace. I have applied to over 10 different temp and staffing agencies but have not heard anything back from them? Is there anything I am doing wrong? Should I call and schedule an appointment or speak to someone at the temp agency so I can at least get tested or get a preliminary interview or should I just wait to call them?

I moved to a new apartment in a new state about 6 mo ago. One of the conditions of the lease is that I needed to set up an account number with the electric company which I did.

A couple weeks pass and the electricity goes out. I call the company and they have a hard time finding my name or my account number but after a few minutes assured that they had me on file and there was just a brief outage and power would be restored. Since then...6 mo and no bill.

My apartment complex charges water and trash removal in the rent...my last apartment complex also included electricity. I was hoping I was wrong and didn't check the lease.

Tonight I check my voicemail. "Urgent call" from the Electric Co. I'm assuming my luck has run out and I'm getting a massive bill.

Is this disputable? Can I at least get out of late charges for their part in the error? Do they have to supply me with a detailed bill for 6 mo of energy use? Any advice would be great! THANKS!
