Her advice is OK for a novice. Her offerings are limited when you know a little more. She's a good grade school teacher, but doesn't get into more advanced topics.

good luck!

I don't know that she is the best, but she is very good indeed.
Depending on your risk tolerance and areas of investing you would consider (some people will be "stock pickers." Some will be traders others investors. Some folks are comfortable with calls, puts, etc. others prefer not to go there) there are good books/authors out there.
You might want to start with your library or take time in a well-stocked bookstore to browse before buying.
Without knowing the answers to the above issues, I'd suggest the following are worth a look at:

The New Buffetology by Mary Buffet (former daughter-in-law of the Oracle)

Robert Kiyosaki's Rich Dad, Poor Dad series

All Your Worth by Elizabeth Warren (not strictly stocks, but she deals with a lot of good financial issues)

Your Money Rules For Financial Freedom by Michael J Laurence--comprehensive book on overall financial matters

I also think the books by Jim Rogers are very interesting. He is really into commodities--which you can sort of invest in via some stocks (energy IS a commodity and Canadian energy trusts, for example, are largely commodity plays BUT they are NOT technically trading commodities as you are actually purchasing the good).

Do be cautious and don't invest money you couldn't lose. You really have to stay on top of investments because the markets can go crazy just because too many investors get nervous.

The Total Money Makeover by Dan Ramsey is good if you're in a lot of debt. If not, his advice probably isn't applicable. He gets "preach-y" sometimes, but the advice is sound.

If you're already pretty responsible with your money and just want to learn more, Suze's books are good.

Here's a piece of financial advice that the books won't give you. Look for these books at your local library! If you read them and really like them, you can always buy them later.

I don't think she is THE BEST, bust could be one among the best. Her advices are always very prudent. But the manner in which she says "Denied" is quiet unnerving.

Her books are good ones
