I have a savings and checking, i havent been using the savings and did not realize i had a $0 Balance, there is a $5 mainteance fee to maintain it.. Today I wanted to put money into it and it says its closed. I went to the bank, they told me the main branch where i opened it closed it, they told me they didnt know why since there was no notes on my account, she told me she sent them an email and will contact me as soon as she finds it..

he said i'm too much a "first come, first serve" person to work the emergency room(to quote him "you'd take a person w/an ingrown toenail over a person having a heart attack just bc the ingrown toenail got there first"). what,if anything, can i do to remedy that about myself?

I have been working with a mortagage company for over a month, trying desperately to get out of an ajdustable rate mortgage I currently have. They lead me on week after week how close they were to closing. The only problem they said was they weren't happy with the appraisel, so he sent a second appraiser to my house. After about 5 weeks, he sent me an email stating that he couldn't re-finance me, given the way the market is, and I owe too much on the house. The true shocker was when he said I needed to send him a check for $700 to cover the 2 appraisels. I was horrified, and said to him that it seems like a scam because he never mentioned any cost to me, ever. He never answers my questions directly when I ask him why, (such as why did he send 2 appraisers, fed me lines for weeks, and never mentioned cost to me) yet says he will sent me to collections and it will ruin my credit. Was I possibly scammed? How do I handle this?

Thanks so much for your advice.

well I'm 20 and last year i did my taxes for the first time. I guess i didn't do a good job and i forgot to print a double for me.So now my parents just got a letter in the mail. it says something about "we recieved a tax return from the dependent that you listed on your taxes who also claims to be dependent"(something like that) and theres a paper on there to fix it. so now my parents don't really know what to do and told me to fix it.

But i don't have a clue on how!

I don't know for sure if my taxes said for sure since i don't have a copy... and i didn't recieve a letter ..my parents did because both of ours cancels each others out!

well..um i hope i made any sense..i'm a bit freaked because this is all new to me. so i hope somebody can give me a hand!

I was going to get this pair of jeans on ebay but for some reason.. My paypal was completelyl at zero. Even right after I sold an 800 dollar circuit breaker. I thought the money was there,.. it was when I last looked.. and then it wasnt there when i tried to pay for the item. I tried contacting this person several times and there was no response. I tried letting them know what was going on with my paypal and a few hours later, i get a negative feedback. Should I retaliate by leaving them a negative feedback as well for poor communication?

I'm not talking about with the use of financial institutions or the purchase of real property. What I'm asking is along the lines of something like using the cash to buy mowers and opening a small lawn service. Something of that nature.

There is a house I would like to make an offer on in Queens, NYC. It's a short sale. As a 1st time homebuyer, I planned on taking advantage of incentives from SONYMA (state mortgage assistance) In addition to SONYMA my bank also has a 1st time homebuyer's program. My credit scores are good. The agent, however, says that they will require me to use their mortgage broker to do this deal. He says they want to avoid even the smallest things that would interrupt the closing. The offering price for the short sale is suppose to compensate for the "little bit extra" paid to the broker. Can I be denied this house if I'm uncomfortable using his broker?
