I am curious why someone would have both without having practiced as an LVN already, and why anyone who had attended an RN program and passed the NCLEX-RN would ask this question.

Why on earth would you work as a LVN and make less money when you are licensed to work as an RN? That makes no sense whatsoever! Are you just lacking confidence in your RN skills and thinking about testing the water, so to speak?
If so, don't doubt yourself. If you managed to pass the NCLEX-RN, you ARE qualified and able to do the job. Most of your learning comes from your orientation provided by your employer anyway. You will never stop learning on the job, ever.

Good luck!

lol, I can't believe you would ask such a question. When you apply for a job you have to put down your licenses and certification in order for it to be legal document. Do you think the place that hired you would make you work as a LVN when you have RN behind your name? Do you not realize the difference in the money RN versus LVN?

Good Luck!!!!!!!!
