Everyday someone else is asking the same question.
IF YOU DID NOT ENTER, YOU DID NOT WIN.
Do not even open these. Look, phishing: There is a so called yahoo lottery (which does not exist) but it seems quite convincing, they even provide a link to what looks like a yahoo sign in page. It's not. You punch in your password.......!
Second, they can add a link which once clicked on installs a spy on your pc.
Don't even think about opening these.

I get about 20 of those emails per week, and I am sorry to inform you as follows:.
Lotteries are not won by People who did not buy a ticket
And they give the number of the winning ticket
Winners are notified by letter, not email
They are addressed by name
They are never asked for money in advance.
Courier firms charge about 50 euros, not 500.
If these crooks give a telephone number, check that it works, do not speak with them and inform the police.

If it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is. Did you enter any sweepstakes of any kind? Do you remember doing anything that would allow you to win something like this? If not, then delete the email. What this scam will do is try and get personal information from you somehow then use it to their advantage.

You didn't enter a lottery so it's not likely that you've won one. If a thing sounds too good to be true, it probably is. This kind of scam goes on all the time. Don't fall for it.

Certainly not real.
Firstly you didnt enter the lottery, and I think there is some sort of rule of being English or being in the UK to win (not certain of that)
Also you should never have to give money to someone in order to gain a 'prize'!!
If a cheque comes through your door then lucky days!!

There is a National Lottery in the UK. You have to buy a ticket.
If you haven't bought a ticket, it's a scam.
