No.
I can still just about to pay my mortgage and put food on the table. There must be some way they can squeeze some more money out of me. More than happy to contribute to the sick lame and lazy workshy scroungers.

Most people don't realise just how far this Government has delved into every aspect of our lives to discover potential avenues of taxation that will not be immediately apparent to the general public.
Why?, in all probability to avoid raising income tax which is a potential election loser.
I would like to know why HM Rec & Customs are not investigating tax evasion by a certain ethnic group of shopkeepers who buy their stock against non-traceable day passes so that the expenditure doesn't have to be declared on tax returns. It costs us in the long run.

No... definitely not taxed enough yet... There are still lots of possible source of revenue still.. Think-tanks are this minute trying to circumvent the problems associated with taxing sex, taxing the breathing of air (an air congestion charge)... taxing happness... and ILNESS... that's a good one... tax anyone who falls ill. If those think tanks get round the difficulties (credibility for a start) they will tax us for all those things.
And no, it isn't only "this government".... hands up but no prizes to those who remember the poll tax !!!???

I think the easiest thing now we are all taxed so much is for Gordon Brown and Alistair Darling to take ALL our income from us and just give us some pocket money. Everyone gets the same. Then we have true socialism.
Oh, only the MPs wouldn't be included in the scheme. They would have to be more equal then us.

The poor are taxed too much, for example VAT on clothes.
The rich are taxed too little, particularly those who inherited their wealth over generations from aristocrats who stole it from ordinary people.

The good people are being hugely over-taxed to enable the Government to waste our money on inefficient and ineffective administration and legislation.

Possibly, perhaps because the rich and the bad know how to evade it, the rest of us have to make up the shortfall.
