you know on some websites how they say 'will buy any home in any condition' or 'we buy ugly homes!'.. do they give you a fair price for it? like what you would normally get if you sold it to someone? i am very skeptical and i do not want to lose out on thousands of dollars.

A friend is selling a business that does labour inside warehouses. Things like loading and unloading etc,

He 's been established for five years, and has good relationships with several warehouses.
His annual gross is $400,000.00, and there's no equipment.

What would be a reasonable offer for business?

Thanks.

For example I wanted to buy a stock with a contract price of $1 with a strike price of $10. I guess 1 contract is worth 100 shares of stock. So I would pay $100 for the contract if that contract price goes down to $.50 then I would lose $50? but if the stock goes up to $20 I could buy 100 shares at $1 then my shares would be worth $2000? Am I right?

There was a house in a neighborhood that is semi rural. Other homes in the neighborhood with similar characteristics (3-car garage, 4 bedroom, similar square footage, etc..) have sold in the past 6 months at $40k below what this house was listed at...PLUS some of them had finished basements or 3 season porches...which the house I bid on didn't. I bid $50k below their asking price. We negotiated and hit a stalemate with a $20k difference between what they wanted for the house and what I was willing to pay. We still like that house. They relocated and are no longer living in the house. So, they are paying mortgages on 2 homes and utilities. Should I move on or wait around a little bit to see if these people come to their senses? It doesn't make sense to me to pay more for a house that has less than what other homes in the same neighborhood have. Give me your best advice.

Do you:
1) Fix it yourself
2) Send it back to the manufacturer
3) Take it to a local computer business
4) Take it to geek squad.

OK...
I currenly have State Farm Car Insurance.
Since I always waited until the last minute to pay my car (shitty *** Galant) insurance, they required me this month to pay up front at least $1074.00, whereas the agent mention that that amout was due upon renewal on October 27,2007 of my recent premium...

Recently I traded in the Galant and the premuim was updated (2037.09) - the total amount from October 27,2007 to APR 27, 2007.
As of November 14, when I got my declarations page, I owed 1,833.37!
WTF...I dont understand lol...

After December 5, I got 30 days to pay at least $1074.00 but Im thinking and Im not going to have insurance in the mean time...Whereas, if I do pay after December 5, they might charge me for the days I didn't have any coverge...

I know it's my fault for always waiting until the last minute but what shoud i do?

I contacted AIG, got a quote and was happy with it...
My intention was going to just start with them fresh on December 7, 2007...

I was reading the IRS guide for this credit and they have a series of questions to answer if you qualify. I am good until it gets to decision 8. Decision (8). Do you have a tax liability (Form 1040, line 46 minus lines 47, 48, and 49) (Form 1040A, line 28 minus lines 29 and 30)?

I didn't owe any taxes. So I didn't have a tax liability? If you don't have a tax liability it says you can't get the credit. Why is this the case. Thanks.

I work as a delivery driver for a company who owns several routes (contracts) for a major delivery company. I earn $90 per day. I often exceed 40hrs a week according to the flsa I should qualify for overtime, but my employer has not compensated me for this time. Are they exempt because of their contract status from paying their employees overtime?

My hubby and I have lived in a small townhome (800 sq ft) for 2 years. We had poor credit and no down payment at the time of purchase, so we got a high interest rate, and only have about $2000 equity. The place is too small, ARM set to adjust soon, and payments are already too high. While our credit is MUCH better now we still have no money saved since the payments are so high. I will be the first to admit we rushed into buying the place as the payments are too high and we didn't realize it would be so expensive to refinance (also did not expect our baby at time!). We listed the place for sale and it has been on the market for 6 mo w/little interest and no offers. My question is, does it make sense for us to purchase a new home (we are approved w/VA at 6.0% no $ down), go back to renting, or refinance even though we do not plan on staying much longer? And in such a bad market does it make sense to take a loss in order to take advantage of a low cost newer home? Thanks...

I got a job 104 miles from where I'm living right now.
I live with my parents.
I need to find a place to live.
Living on the streets is not an option.
I don't want sites to help me find a place.
I just want someone to pick one for me!!
I'm moving to Saint Robert Missouri.
I'm going to need to be really close to there, that's where my new job is.
It's not a high paying job either, so living close to where I work is going to be great.
I don't want names of sites to help me out!!
What I want is direct links to a place to live.
All that I require is it being either in Saint Robert Missouri or Waynesville Missouri, and it only really needs 1 bedroom 1 bathroom, I'm fine with a studio, I'm fine with a mobile home, I need SOMETHING!! Anything is better than a cardboard box on the side of the road.
Much appriciated, and I'm not kidding, but whoever finds me a place that is decent, I'll personally mail them $10.00. :)

I want to start my non-profit. I am now looking for a place to open it in. I was thinking to use a 2-3 story house, and convert it to a commercial space with some offices and what not. Do i need a particular permit to do that? Or can i just start constructing it for my non-profit?

I am a 20 yr old server for a sports bar. Occasionally we will have a table "dine and dash" or leave without paying their bill. As a server, I am required to pay for their meal. How is this remotely appropriate? Shouldnt the restaurant carry insurance of some sort for walk-outs? Also, when a table walks out and they have alcohol on their bill, is it still legal to make me buy it? even though i'm not 21? Why am I punished for someone else?
