I order 12 books from Amazon and the sellers want 12 feedbacks. I order from Ebay and literally get harassed with reminders from sellers if I don't send feedback. I get emails from Microsoft for my customer satisfaction on their help. Do we all have ego problems these days or what? I don't have time for all of this homework! What is this phenomenon all about? Should I just send out a huge mass email and tell everyone they did a good job, now leave me alone? How can we block requests for feedback? This is like expecting us to send thank you notes when we have already said thank you in person. Life is too busy these days for more than one thank you for the same thing!

The housing market has fallen considerable. I live in one of the highest cost of living areas in the country. I have seen home prices fall from $50,000-$100.000 within a few months.

However, I'm not quite ready to buy. I might be in a year or so. Will the housing market still be a buyers market then? Will home prices go even lower then what they currently are?

How long with this buyers market last for/

Hello,
I am signing up for health insurance with 5000 deductible and a $280 premium a month for 2 adults. Now, the application asks when I would like to start the insurance policy the 1st of a month or the 15th of a month. I would like to know whether to wait and start on January 1, 2008 with a fresh new year. Or sign up for the insurance to start on December 15th, 2007. What are the negatives or the positives of doing this. I realize this year is coming to an end and I keep thinking i'm better of waiting until January 1, 2008.

What do you think?
Thank you greatly! :)

when I got hired for a job at an AMC theater yesterday. One of the managers was helping me and another new hire out, and she was saying that 0 would have the government take more out now, but give me more back later, or something like that, so I just claimed 0. Was that the right thing to do? I'm an 18-year-old still living with my parents, and I'm a full-time college student

Also, how much is the government gonna take out of each paycheck? Let's say I work 20 hours a week, at $8/hr, which = $320 per bi-weekly paycheck. How much of it will they take out?

I purchased my first condo on my own and have found it to be a less than great experience. Currently I'm faced with being upside down in my loan (due to the market) and all the units around me have been vacant for a long time (some years)

It also appears that the HOA has lost all interest in keeping the community clean and in proper order. So its possible that I'm faced with losses even after (or if) the market ever comes back up.

I've spoken with some financial advisors about my options and among the options; one was to sell/give the property back to the bank. I have good credit and have never been late on a payment.

I've searched and searched and can't seem to come across much information on this process, has anyone ever heard of this? and what might the consequences be if i were to go through with it?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

My dentist was sending bills to an old address of mine and the bills were never returned to the dentist so they assumed that i was receiving them. Therefore, they sent me to collections without even calling me. Did they use proper procedure? What can I do to get this off my report as the dentist refuses to do anything besides send me a letter saying they had an old address. The collection agency will only remove it if the dentist says that it is there fault. THANK YOU for your help!!!

My girlfriend had applied online for macy's job and they emailed her telling her to come to an interview.however they didnt say she had to dress professionally.when she got there they didnt let her go to the interview because she had on jeans. The managers or anybody didnt see her,the security guard at the door told her about the dress code.
She is real mad now and I told her she might be able to re-apply online.
Can she reply online or will they disregard her as soon as they seen her application again? Is there any chance that she can get another interview if she re apply.
What should she do
if she does re apply how long should she wait or how many days to re apply?

I'm renting a house from a relative & intend to buy it. Who pays for the appraisal & what order/steps do I take to get things rolling w/bad credit? I don't just want to do a comparison on other houses in the neighborhood b/c this house needs a LOT of work done to it so it would work in my favor if it is appraised on the lower end. The seller (my aunt) asked me what I thought would be a fair price & if I checked to see how much other houses in this subdivision were selling for...but like i said, this house needs a lot of work, so it's not fair to do a comparison. Any suggestions on how to proceed??

I don't know whether we should contact a mortage company first, or get the appraisal 1st. Or since we have bad credit, should we contact a company that help people w/bad credit 1st?
HELP!!

I have been told many times, by many sources that my credit will never improve because of my defaulted loan. Recently, I've heard otherwise. Do you know of a website or any other source that explains this?

I've been paying off the student loans for quite some time now with no change in my credit report.

I used to dream of owning my own business, but threw the idea out the window after the loan ordeal. Now, I'm wondering if I still might have a chance.

I don't know if it matters, but I calculate that it won't be paid off for 15 years or so due to the fee's. (I have more fee's than loan at this point)

Any info would be appreciated.

I responded to an ad on Craigslist for a telecommuting administrative position. The response I received was too good to be true. Does anyone know of a company by the name of Corndell Furniture Co Ltd and do you think that their offer is a scam. Plus, how can I verify their legitmacy as they are located in the UK.
Thank you for your help.

We put a deposit on a new home. We decided to forgo a realtor because the builder was giving a lot of incentives to do w/out a buyers realtor. I was wondering what kind of obligation the builder has on building the house on time. I've heard horror stories about the construction being delayed 3/4months from the promised date. If that happens, is the builder obligated to do something for us?? Especially, since the builder is already getting payments for the house, even before we are able to live there. Thanks.

I thought of this after hearing the recent story of the dumber-than-a-rock crook who tried to pass a fake $1 Million bill at a bank in South Carolina. Is there really such a thing as an authentic $1 Million dollar bill. If there is, I suspect it's only circulated among federal reserve banks.

Lets hypothetically say that you made $25K buying and selling on ebay and did not know the laws and didn't report it as income.

How can you fix it with IRS so that you won't get audited and convicted for a crime?
