Why do we have to give a job at least two weeks notice before we quit? But they don't have to give us two weeks notice before they fire us, so we can look for another job. That's so bass ackwards. Sooooo unfair. Ever wondered that?

Tomorrow I have to break the news to my landlord, roommate and roommate's parents, who are his guardians.

I am getting married and I hate my roommate who is an unemployed, slob, noisy, mama's boy. I have called the cops on his aggressive and psychotic behavior twice.

I know they can sue me for breaking it but I can't be apart from my fiance any longer and it's unbearable here. I am nervous about speaking to everyone.

ANY ADVICE ON WHAT TO SAY TO ALL PARTIES INVOLVED?

thanks and BTW: I am sending all parties an official written notice tomorrow.

We live in a small 4 units apartment complex in Oregon. I found out that the parking lot light is connected to my electric meter. So when I turn off my apartment main switch/ breaker, the whole parking lot goes dark. When I contacted my landlord, he ignored me and said that's how it was hooked up before I moved in...basically he is not gonna fix it. But I don't wanna pay for lighting (8 halogens, stays on all night) up our shared parking lot which everybody in the apartment complex uses to park. What should I do? What are my rights? Can I do something about it? Your expert opinion is appreciated.

I have been renting a townhome for close to two years. Lately ive had some personal issues preventing me from paying on time. I have, however, been in contact with the owners, and have made them aware of my issues. At the same time, ive received letters threatening eviction, and reporting me to the credit bureau. I have no problems with these people, and they seem nice everytime we talk. With that said, there is one more thing. There is NO rental agreement. There is nothing legally binding me to make the payment at all. I do live here, and plan to move out very soon.

Is there any advice anyone can give me at all. This is worrying me a little more than it was a couple days ago. Could these people forge, or fake a rental agreement?

What are your thoughts? Any feedback would be appreciated. I would be grateful for anything at this point.

Stores have to pay the credit card company a percentage of everything sold around 2-5%. I know that they also add 2-5% to your charge so they dont lose money. So im wandering if i ask to charge cash instead of paying with my credit card can i get that percent taken off?

I have a Question about income taxes. Im only 19 so i dont really know alot about the taxes and what to do. Im doing my taxes for the first time. I have a W-2 form from working where im going to reciecve back $300. Then I have a form from the Lottery saying I owe them $200. Then I have a Interest Form saying I owe $300 for savings bonds interest. After I total everything---
+$300 W-2
-$300 Interest Savings Bonds
-$200 Lottery
Owe =$200
So Basically I owe Back $200. So when I do my taxes which im using turbo tax for the first time could I mail In a Check or Money Order for $200 with my income Tax Pamphlet. Oh Yeah and also do I have to include all my tax forms(W-2,Interest From,Lottery Form) that I received in the envelope im mailing in with my income tax pamphlet when I mail in taxes.

It shouldnt be that hard I have 1 W-2 Form, A Interest Form From Cashing in my savings bonds, And a tax form from the lottery. I was wondering how does turbo tax work. My husband is an apartment locator in Texas About 4 months ago he changed agencies. When he left the old agency they still owed him about $1800 in unpaid commissions. The agency pays the agents when they get paid by the apartment complexes so we knew it would take awhile. At this point we know all the deals have been paid on and he called the broker 2 weeks ago to ask where his money is. The broker told my husband he would send him a check.Being way too trusting my huband bought this line of BS and low and behold we still don't have his money. He's tried to call the broker 3 times this week and the jerk wont answer his calls.I checked and this is not covered by the Tx workforce commision. So I'm at a loss and my husbands ready to give up. I refuse to let this go because my husband earned that money and it is rightfully his. Please if anybody knows what to do let me know.Thank you.

I am actually thinking about making a career change and I have visited a few of the local voc tech schools. I dont have any auto technician tools and was wondering if the auto technician has to make an investment of upwards of 10,000USD for tools how does he make a living. What about Snap On is there like a payment plan or something that allows for time. Please keep all sarcarstic remarks to your self. Guy wanting to become an auto tech.

I am thinking about buying some E-Trade stock while it is low, cause I think it has some potential. If not, I think I could easily make about $200 to $300 if I bought it now at 4.83 dollars per share (that will give me about 517 shares) and sell at around 5.3 dollars per share. It seems like the share price of E-Trade bounces up and down everyday by about 40 cents, so I was thinking I could make some short term cash or long term (all depending on the situation)

I am asking my professors to write Letter of Recommendation. Obviously I'm not going to see the letter they write. On the cover sheet, with other categories, I found "Outstanding" and "Truely exceptional." I'm not a native English speaker, and I'm just curious which is better than the other.
