Is there any provisions for a bankrupt to get discharged under medical grounds? My father took a hire purchase car loan under my name and defaulted payment. Becuase of 1997 resession, i was jobless. Finance company repossess the car and sold in auction to recover back whatever they can. They told me I still owed them for the balance loan and declared me a bankrupt. Now I got a medical problem. I need to go for an eye operation. I am jobless because I am a backrupt. My parents getting old. My mom working as a maid supporting me. I wrote to the finance company to strick out my name because of medical grounds. The finance company refuse to entertain still asking me to pay whatever I owe them? In this situation how can I pay when I am jobless, losing eyesight and living with emotional problems? I wanted to speak to the top guys in the finance company to explian my plight my the staff not allowing me to see anyone? What can I do in this situation? Is there any advice or help I can get ?

Alright..

Let's say I have a checking account with 200 Dollars in it.

I buy a website domain for 20 Bucks. For a whole year.
Can I possibly make any money off of this? I have heard of people getting an upwards of numbers in the 4s and 5s.


And if i do make money would it be wise to expand it to sell products and such?

I've completed my 5th and final interview for a very high-paying senior director for a national organization. It's the perfect job for me, and I did very well in all my interviews. During my last interview, however, the interview asked me a number of illegal questions (all of which I answered): how old were you when you graduated with your MBA? what does your wife do? How do you arrange for child care? Where were you born? I'm concerned because I'm in my early 30s and Asian-American -- and worry that my age and background might keep me from getting such a senior position. The interviewer said two interesting things to me: that I gave the best answers out of all five finalists, but he's concerned that my relative lack of experience might be a problem. (The job description requires at least 12 years of experience, & I have exactly 12 years of experience.) Do I have any grounds for a lawsuit if I don't get the job? How can I know if my answers to these questions affected their decision?

I posted a Q a few weeks back about changing career. Currently a hairdresser but have always wanted to be a nurse. Being a single mum I was a bit daunted about going to uni, lack of money & walking away from the security of my current job. Got lots of positive & encouraging answers from here which was great.
A few years back I worked as a care assistant in a nursing home. I had a chat with my old boss who offered me my job back & told me the company run a scheme where if I work as a care assistant for 1 year they will then sponsor me to train as a nurse. I'd have to work as a nurse for them for 2 years after qualification but I'm happy with that. A few people did mention that it's hard to get a job within the NHS after qualifying so I'm happy to do it this way.
My family are really pleased that I'm taking this first step towards my dream & so am I! So a big thank you to everyone who gave me encouragement.

I own a computer business and always have customers that need a new computer. Instead of referring them to specific computer sites, can i just purchase the computer, mark it up a few bux and sell it to the customer? If i can, can i in most cases pay for the item and have it shipped to a different name and address? Thanks!!

I am doing a research paper on the diffusion of the ipod, but I still need a primary source. I want to contact someone from the ipod company to interview over email or phone about the spread of the ipod around the world and in the US. My main problem is that I cannot find the proper way to do so, in their page for contacting apple, it seems that there is no true way of contacting them for an interview. So I financed a brand new 2007 Suzuki gs500f and did the paper work and everything and it has been a couple of weeks. I have not even payed the first payment yet. I have grown extremley bored with the bike and want a new one, What can I do? Is it to early to trade it in? Will they just credit me the cost towards my new bike or something? there was a fire in my apartment buliding on the 18th of novemeber. i just got an email tonight from my landlord and she says that since i dont have renters insurance, that i am obligated to do the clean up and i have to pay for the damages the firefighters made while taking care of the fire. can she do that? she also told me that i have to clean the walls with bleach and she would take care of the painting.

if anyone can help please do. i have already lost everything that i owned and if i am obligated to this then i am just not to sure what i am going to do im lucky to be alive only to have to deal with this. i live in chicago if that makes a difference, thank you

also the toaster must of shorted or it had to do with the outlet, either way i was not in the room

another property owner is demanding access to his property through my property, i have offered to let him go down the edge of my property to his but he insists that he hase the right to cut thru my property, instead of going down the edge he wants to drive across mine to a better access point, so he wont have do work to make an acess... ie cut some trees, and haul in some fill to make a road
