how long will it last in the bank if you withdraw £400 every year considering interest rate fluctuation?

ok, so i came home last night to finish my fall cleaning, only to have a note taped to my room from the landlord asking me to clean my room and throw out the garbage outside of the house. i had my garbage in bags, on the floor, ready to go. i also was going through the closet/old clothes, so basically my room was like a disaster zone. it was just embarrassing to have someone see my room in the midst of the cleaning process. i wasn't given notice by my roommate (i'm subletting) that the landlord was coming by, but is that normal for your landlord to come unannounced or just to check your rooms once in a while?

How much would it cost to bring a Hummer H2 to the UK from the US? Im not planning on buying this particular verhicle, however, me and my friend are trying to see if it would be cheaper to import a car from america than to than buy it from here in the UK. So we using this as an example.

Does anybody know the shipping and Import Duty cost on it or how to work it out?

Some info:
The Hummer H2 is 2903kg net weight.
Distance from NYC to London is about 5500km
The Hummer H2 Costs around $55,000 in America.
The same Hummer H2 costs around £38,000 in the UK ($78,089.61)
Cheapest shipping possible.

Its definately more expensive to buy a car in the UK so thats why we want to know if its worth buying from abroad.

Thanks

On Craigslist I am continually seeing postings to take over payments on homes with no credit checks and no down payments. It seems fishy because the monthly payments that are listed are far below the rental market. For example there is a 3BR/2bth home listed with $125,000 left on the mortgage for $900/month. I'm currently renting a small 2bd/1bth for $1100. My initial reaction is that the remaining balances on the mortages seem to be too low. I don't see alot of people caught up in the ARM's unless they bought their home within the last five years. Most of the listed balances are less than $175,000 and the median home price in my town is $300,000. Does anybody have any idea if this could be legit? Please list your experiences.

Myself (a tenant) and the tenants living/renting in my apartment building are all being listed in a lawsuit as defendants. The mortage co. is the suing party. Obviously their loan is not being paid off. How can they come after the tenants? makes no sense. We have no interest in the property other than renting apartments there. Any help would be so greatly appreciated. Not sure where to turn. I can't really afford to hire a lawyer, and don't qualify for free legal. THANKS.

I am staying in a rental house from last 37 Years, and from last 6 months house owner is avoiding giving me the rent receipts? (I am paying him monthly rent without fail) are there any consequences I may face?
According to new (Indian) law, house owner can not ask tenant to leave the place unless tenant is paying the monthly rent on time or even if tenant has not paid the monthly rent for a longer period, and if tenant is ready to pay the balance due amount, the house owner has to accept that.
Please suggest what should I do
Thanks in advance..!

Most people live in two-story houses with a tiny attic that you pull down a small ladder to get to nowadays. What happened to old-fashioned three story houses with a basement, a first floor, a second floor, and a full third floor attic where you climb a regular flight of steps positioned right above the first to second floor and basement to first floor staircases?

The houses I'm talking about aren't really that big, maybe 1000-1500 square feet per floor, but most of them were built before 1960. Now, most three story homes are mansions the size of an old Woolworth's store.

I have Battled breast cancer for tens years.
Unfortunately it is a very expensive disease and doesn't care what your credit scores are.
And neither do the creditors.....Sure they buy the pink ribbons and put the on socks, shoes, buttons, cars, magnets etc...but do they really know the people they are buying the ribbons for?
when they check your score, do they ask why, after years of perfect credit, did it all go wrong?
I have asked them, they replied to me that "the numbers are all they see, it doesn't matter that fate chose you to have cancer, it's just the numbers that count not the people", this was word for word! From all 3 credit corps.
Sad Really!
