just wondering im suppost to get an important package 2day and i need it for tomoro

They will leave a notice on your door informing you that you can pick up the package from their local service center when the delivery truck has finished its rounds for the day (usually after 6pm). Most local fed-ex service centers are open until 8pm.

It depends on how the sender sent the package via FedEx. Unless the sender specified 'signature required', they may leave the package even if you are not at home. They do it for me with regularity. I venture it would also depend on in what type of neighborhood one lives. If you are, as an example, in an apartment building with secured access, they won't leave it outside the main entrance.

I live in a single family subdivision, and here they will leave the package.

You CAN request that the package be held at the FedEx distribution center for your pick up, but you need to make advance arrangements for that.
