I'm a mexican citizen established on Mexico City, I would like to start investing on-line on american stocks using Ameritrade, Scottrade or another related service provider.

Some people told me that if I have not a Social Security number or a Tax ID number, Ameritrade will withdraw 30% of my earnings.

Can someone tell me what should I do to find the best answer of my problem/situation?

I have accrued a $600,000 medical debt due to a serious car accident that almost resulted in my early demise. Unfortunately at the time of the accident, I didn't have medical insurance (hence the enormous amount). I am seriously considering filing for chapter 7 bankruptcy because there is no way in hell that I am ever going to be able to pay this off. Presently I am without a job nor do I have any assets to speak of......basically I have jack squat! Can anyone please give me some suggestions as to how to approach this dire situation? It would be greatly appreciated.

If I where to purchase spy devices and put them in my bosses office then I would always be a step ahead of the game. They make them pretty small and I am in her office a lot when she is not around. She would never suspect me and I would be king.

can anyone tell me where and how to contact investors? I'm trying to bring a truck stop here. I live between 2 major cities and there are no truck stops that offer 24 eating or towing. My job went overseas and i'm broke can anyone help?

Of this larger amount check. and never actually pay the larger check - just use its amount to "bunce" the amounts of the smaller checks??

Some of the smaller checks pre-dated the larger one by five days!

I have a month-to-month lease that I want to leave at the end of this month. I'm supposed to give 30 days notice however. I don't really know that this apartment is fit for human habitation and besides all the other people in the house are constantly smoking pot and cigarettes (which i am allergic to). If I complain to the landlord do you think I can get out of my lease?? Any other ideas?

From the Commonwealth Bank of Australia site:

"If I make a transfer to an account at another financial institution, when will the funds be available in the recipient's account?
Transfers to other Australian financial institutions performed before 6pm (Sydney time) on a business day will generally be available in the recipient's account in 1-2 working days."

I've heard it's the same in the US also.

I know this sounds stupid, but, I don't know how many withholding allowances to claim so that I don't have to pay in when I file. I have a new job with a new agency, (left my last job of 10 years) and my situation has changed from the last time I filled one out.

What exactly do you claim if you are married with one child, and you plan to file jointly and he would be listed as "head of household". I work full time, he works both full time for the police and "on call" as a fireman for another agency. So, there are three regular employers, not to mention he works for other police departments doing details (so he has to fill out forms for that too). How do I fill this out without losing my whole check to make up for his taxes and without having to pay in at the end of the year? Any ideas?
