Which appears more professional, an e-mail address from a college alumni assocaition (in my case Tulane) or a yahoo address? In both cases the first part of the address is just my my name.

either one is fine as long as it is not fluffy@yahoo.com... if it is your name either one would be fine... use the one that you would check the most is my opinion

I think Tulane sounds more professional, but if it's just your name, either is probably fine.

I don't think the part after the @ matters all that much. Just keep the personal part professional.
