I have sent my W-4 in multiple times in the last 8 months and my tax allowances have not been updated. What are my options as now I am going to end up owing a large sum come tax time?

The first answer is correct. Your state may use a separate state withholding form. A few states don't use either the W-4 or their own form, they require a fixed withholding rate.
