My boss is stopping me from moving to other departments but says that he will give my good refer.but he's not.

I tried in all depts even i pray regularly but na.....i am so down.

How do you know your boss is not giving you good references? Were you actually told this by the other department managers? If this is the case you can always quit. No one should remain at a job where you are stuck. Managers who do not allow there employees to advance are not only horrible managers, but disgustingly selfish.

He probably doesn't want to lose you from his department. Talk to him and ask if someone can be trained as your backup, so the work can get done if you are off work, and there would be someone to take over if you transfer to another department.
