My ex-boyfriend and I are having terrible problems. Recently, I found out I am pregnant and need to move home to get proper care. He refuses to be civil and let me back out of the lease. I made a call previously to authorities when he tried to kick me out so there is a record of previous violence. I am wondering if I can use this to get out of the lease and leave him liable? He is capable of affording the apartment (I am not). He also said he wanted me out before.

HOW do I get out of this without breaking the lease or ruining my credit?! I can't live with him I'm afraid of losing this baby!

I was receiving unemployment for one week and then a temp agency found me a job. I’ve worked here for a few days; however, the job doesn't fit my job description...OK so I hate it. Of course I’ll look for another job but in the meantime I need to leave this place. Will I lose my chance to get my unemployment back?

I have already paid the amount of federal taxes required from me for this year.
if i dont change the number of allowances to have less taken out for my last 2 paychecks of the year i will be over-paying about $750. will i receive this amount on top of my regular return?
i would prefer not to change the number of allowances. i would rather have them withhold the extra amount but only if i get it back with my return.
no sense in giving the taxman more than i have to.

My husband is military, we started to rent a place in Arizona, we now have to get out of the lease because he is going to go remote, which means he will be all over the state as the task force needs him. So he will not be able to keeo the rental. My husband had them put in the lease a military clause, but we are unable to produce any papers stating that he is going remote. They are verbal orders. I showed the landlord the line on his orders which states he can be moved anywhere in Arizona per task force needs, but he is saying that he needs something different from the original orders. Something that would state that he is unable to stay in the house because of a change. But my husbands base will not make new orders for something already stated. Please see the military clause I am attaching and tell me, is he right, or are we right, or what can we do? Please Help!

Any other provision of this lease to the contrary notwithstanding, at least thirty (30) days prior to the normal expiration of the term of this Lease as noted under the heading TERM OF LEASE above, Tenant shall give written notice to Landlord of Tenant’s intention to surrender the residence at the expiration of the Lease term. If said written notice is not timely given, the Tenant shall become a month-to-month tenant as defined by applicable Arizona law, and all provisions of this Lease will remain in full force and effect, unless this Lease is extended or renewed for a specific term by written agreement of Landlord and Tenant.

If Tenant becomes a month-to-month tenant in the manner described above, Tenant must give a thirty (30) day written notice to the Landlord of Tenant’s intention to surrender the residence. At any time during a month-to-month tenancy Landlord may terminate the month-to-month Lease by serving Tenant with a written notice of termination, or by any other means allowed by applicable Arizona law. Upon termination, Tenant shall vacate the premises and deliver same unto Landlord on or before the expiration of the period of notice.

Military Clause: This Lease is executed with the express understanding by Landlord that Tenant is on active duty with United States Armed Forces. Therefore, the lease may be terminated by Tenant (1) 14 days after Tenant notifies Landlord, in writing, that the Tenant has received involuntary permanent change of station orders to a duty station located more than 50 miles from Phoenix, Arizona. (2) 72 hours after Tenant notifies Landlord, in writing, that the Tenant has been activated for Title 10 orders overseas (3) 14 days after Tenant notifies Landlord, in writing, that Operation Jump Start ends before June 30, 2008. Tenant will provide Landlord with a copy of such documents as may be necessary to substantiate the exercise of this military release clause. When this Lease is terminated through this military clause, the deposit will be returned to the Tenant minus $300 non-refundable cleaning fee and other fees for damages to the property, if any.

We bought our house a few months ago. When we started to use the oil furnance last month, there was always the smell of old mechnical oil in the air. A service guy told us that the furnance could no longer be used for it had a crack inside and was releasing exhaust gas. We were wondering if the previous owner should also take some responsibility to sell the house with a furnance functioning dangerously? Please advice. Thanks!

In seeking employment, 'cost accountant' continues to
come up when using keywords regarding my experience
and abilities. Would I be correct in assuming a cost accountant
would basically be a bean counter?

Figuring costs down to the penny highly interests me. Would
there be a particular college course which may be helpful in this field?

Many thanks.

I graduated from my undergrad. school with $40,985.99 in debt (private liberal arts). I'm currently working on my master's degree in library science and estimate that, when all is said and done, I'll owe back $26,325.00 for said degree. My husband, on the other hand, owes around $37,649.61 for his undergrad. degree, making our combined total a whopping $104,960.60! We're currently paying back all of the undergrad loans even though I'm in grad. school and only working very part-time (monthly combined payments are currently $974.13). We pay this money back comfortably, however, and only have around $2,000-something worth of credit card debt on top of typical monthly expenses and car payments, etc. My husband is fortunate enough to make around $93,000 a year, while I'm unsure of what my earning prospects will be at a library, but hopefully I'll be in the $35,000 - $40,000 (?) range after a few years in the field.

Is this debt too much to our income? Are these figures normal for two?

I recently bought about 8 acres and to get to my 8 acres I must go through a gate that passes through someone elses land. The other person has 20 acres and to the south side of their land is a road that stretches the entire length from the front gate to my gate. On my warranty deed, there is no mention of this road being or having an easment. Instead there is a grandfather clause on that road and people with land behind mine use the road too. It passes through my land as well. My question is, if I wanted to get a mortgage loan to build a house, what type of easement will I have to get in order for the loan company to lend it to me. I've been told that there needs to be an easement in order to borrow money. Where can I get this easement from and do I have to involve the people infront of me in any way? Also, if I wanted to put an automatic gate in the very first entrance where the road begins, who do I have to talk to. Im willing to pay for it, can I just put it up?

Good day,Cargo Express Company reopen vacancy of merchandise manager in connection with expansion. Below You can read about main moments.DESCRIPTIONOver the past four years, Cargo Express has emerged as the leading innovator in the merchandise forwarding service with an approach focused on European. The US take-up of Internet trading is much higher than in the Europe. Many Internet auctions and stores in the United States of America do not ship the products overseas. As the result thousands of customers in Europe are not able to access the large market and purchase high-quality merchandise at so low prices. Cargo Express provides European customers with US and Canada street addresses that can be used as the shipping addresses. Then our merchandise managers forward the packages to the country where the customer is located. It is the same if they had relatives or friends in the United States and could ask them about such service. But not so many Europeans have friends and relatives in the United States. Our service is in the ever growing demand. Today we have few merchandise managers on the territory of the United States and Canada but quantity of our customers increases and we plan to expand.

I married a single mom of two in August of 2006. Her and the kids have been living with me ever since (I did not legally adopt them). I supported them 100%. Shelter, food, bills, diapers, etc...

In mid-November of this year, due to the fact that me and my wife are separating, the kids moved out to their grandparents house (my in-laws) where they will stay till the end of the year, at minimum. There is also a chance that my wife will sign the kids over to my in-laws (i.e, they'll legally adopt them).

So, the bottom line is: I supported the kids for the first 10 and half months of the year. My in-laws supported them for the last one and half. Who gets to claim them on their taxes? If both sides file at the same time claiming the kids, who will get it?

We're not on good terms, so them signing anything allowing me to claim them is out of the question.

Me and my wife are still married and probably not gonna be divorced for few months into the new year.

How do I go about this. I think she's trying to pull the wool over my eyes and I have policy in place to let her go if she is. She's a mediocre employee and I have trouble with her quality of work all the time and now she claims she couldn't drive back to town (we had a four day weekend) because of sleet. I'd like to check and see if it really did sleet in the areas around Dallas yesterday. If it did, great. I'll cut her slack although in our industry it's REALLY necessary she be here and I have policy that requires discipline (verbal up to termination ) if they miss any of the 5 days before holiday or after. How do I check yesterday's weather?
