My brother owe me money and he has been sending checks from a closed account. Of course the checks have been returned (about three of them). How will I be affected with this?

You will probably be charged a fee from your bank for each check that you deposited that was returned, in addition to having the value of the check subtracted back out of your balance.

God Help You. Who needs enemies if your brother cannot be honest with you. Issuing checks on closed accounts or accounts which cannot cover the amount of the check come under the heading of petty larceny, which is a felony. If you pressed charges, he might be in some trouble. Unfortunately, there is no moral fiber in your sibling. I'm positive this has shown up before in other instances. Lesson:Don't Trust Brother!!
