no ones gonna give u that much. Mine was 1000 you have to prove credit before they increase the limit...after 2 years on a student visa, they upped my limit to 1500...good luck!

You can get gift card credit cards. Visa has cards with no limits that you load money onto. That may be an option.

To actually get a real credit card in your name- it's not going to happen. You are not 18, therefore you cannot legally sign a contract. You cannot be bound by the terms of the credit card.

Try getting a debit card from your bank. You say you have the money, so it shouldn't be a problem.

But why buy the laptop online?? You can probably get a better deal in person anyway. Especially during the holidays.

If you're under 18 you are not yet of legal age to sign a contract, so your parents will have to either co-sign or more likely, get the account in their name and have a card issued to you with your name on it. However, they would be legally responsible to repay the debt. The credit limit would be dependent on their income. If you go to your bank and talk to a loans officer they can explain your options to you and your parents.

the only way is if your parents give you one on their account or if you apply for a pre-loaded card where you put the money on first and it deducts like a debit card, but usable as a visa or master card
