My husband is a radiology tech/ct tech. He has an associate degree and has passed the exams to be certified in both. It's a tough 2-year college program. If you are a hard worker and good at science then you should be able to get through it. Anatomy is the most important subject pertaining to the field. College classes are all tough but college science is especially tough so go into this knowing that you'll work your butt off for a couple of years to get a really good job after. It's one of the most growing field out there and a good paying one too.

To be a true "radiologist" one needs to be a fully trained and licensed MD or Medical Doctor first.

Then specialize in Radiology by doing a residency in it.

A Radiologist is a medical doctor whose specialty is reading and interpreting x-rays and cat scans and the like.

Are you talking about being a doctor (radiologist) or an x-ray tech (radiologic technologist)?

i think what Pastor Art is trying to say is that you want to be a diagnostic RadioGRAPHER not a radiologists who are specialist doctors with Medicine degrees. whereas radiographers have at least a BSc Diagnostic Radiography.
