That is simply fraud as it is ILLEGAL for anyone to even promise to remove info from your credit report except the agencies themselves. Report them to law enforcement so they can be an APB on the company.

Firstly, any business that claims to be able to remove valid information from your credit report is a scam, and it is in fact illegal to make such a claim.
You can contact your local authorities and the BBB, but probably the only thing you'll get out of this is a lesson learned.
Any negative information on your credit that is older than 7 years, you can have removed yourself by simply calling or sending a letter to the credit reporting agency. Any incorrect information can be corrected on your own using the same method. Any valid information negative or positive current to the last 7 years IS part of your credit history and CANNOT be removed by anyone.

You got taken. Many law firms that promise credit repair are just scams who do nothing but take your money. They are gone. If they really were a law firm, there is a licensed attorney in charge. Contact your state bar and report him. He took money for services he never provided. He could be disbarred.
But most likely you just lost your money.

you can take them to civil court. and the only way to repair your credit is to PAY back what you owe to the creditors. none of those credit fixers are legit, plus when you use one it actually harms your credit. the best bet you got, is to call the creditors, get them to take a smaller lump sum, pay it off, then have them write you a letter of satisfaction, and contact the credit reporting agencies and tell them to remove it from your report. that is the ONLY way to repair your credit.

There isn't much you can do if you can't find them.
Continue to try to track them down. But they scammed you. You must be careful with these kind of "too good to be true" schemes. Be very skeptical and more careful in the future.
This is why I advocate education and reading like I do. Please don't be one of those people that seem to think they know it all. Ask lots of questions and seek out knowledge. It will help you avoid situations like these.

In reality someone can't just "repair your credit" - you do that by paying off what you owe. Sounds like you were scammed.

If you paid with your credit card then call your credit card company and dispute it as services not rendered.
