I was receiving unemployment for one week and then a temp agency found me a job. I’ve worked here for a few days; however, the job doesn't fit my job description...OK so I hate it. Of course I’ll look for another job but in the meantime I need to leave this place. Will I lose my chance to get my unemployment back?

Well hmmm good question did you already tell unemployment that you were working? If so then i dont think you can get it back bc you quit, if you didnt tell them there may be a penalty if they find out.

If you just up and quit yes you run the risk of losing it.

However, if you can come up with a good reason why the job wasn't a 'fit' for you and explain that to Unemployment, you have a chance.

"I thought I could do the job. I really don't have the skills necessary to do the job". etc.,

If you just quit the job, it depends on your state law. If it's a job you are able to do, even if you hate it, you might lose your benefits if you quit. You could call the unemployment people and ask them.

No, you won't lose your unemployment. Just call them and reinstate your unemployment claim.
