Would selling sweets and water guns etc sell better to a high school aged buyer while they are around school than say cheap video games or others...

Would like to know if General Partnerships, Limited Partnerships, LLPs and Sole Practioner entities are taxed at the business level or if the earnings and losses are passed through to the owners. Thanks for any help!

My fiance has three children. They have lived mainly with him since they were born, with their mother coming and going, always leaving the kids with him. After moving out, she would take them for a week or so at a time. Anyways, he is being audited for 2004 since the mother's boyfriend claimed them on his tax return and she received government benefits claiming the kids lived with her. We've sent all requested documents (birth certificates, deed to home, letter from school, medical bills, etc.) to the IRS, and so far none have been acceptable. They are now asking for him to send a mortgage statment, utility bills, complete school records, complete medical records, and the long birth certificate. The biggest obstacle he faces is the kids have her last name and she didn't want him listed on the birth certificate. Only one child was in school during 2004.

Has anyone ever had a similar problem? Maybe you work for the IRS and have some suggestions.

I am so upset. I need some help. Here it goes. I bought my first house on 6/28/07 for $331,000.00. Within 5 months the houses in the new area have drop almost $100,000.00. I am so mad. Is there anything that I can do? In our area on the news, my Mom has heard of a class action suit against a builder for this exact reason. Does anyone know or heard of this? Please help, I feel robbed.

My husband is in the Military, he works on Selfridge ANG Base in Michigan. We live 35 minutes from his work, and he is on call 24 hours. The new Commanding Officer has stated that my husband needs to be closer to work! it was an official order. we still have 6 months left on our lease?? can we break our lease because the Military Commanding Officer ordered us to move closer?

I work the night shift and watch my kids during the day, so I think a stay-at-home internet business would be the perfect way to make a little cash on the side. I just received a class action settlement from H and R block. I got back a petty $70. 00 check made to me(in my former married name) and my ex spouse. I have been divorced from him for over 11 years and I am remarried. His whereabouts are unknown. Last I heard , he was in jail out of state. My question is this:

1)Can I sign my previous married name, or do i sign my current name?

2) since I cannot locate him, and we obviously dont have a joint account, can I deposit it in my account without his signature?

I live in Chicago, and I took out a payday loan and I can't pay it back, I had to do this and I needed the money for a family reason, and now they are calling my job and telling me that when I accepted the loan that I agreed to a wage garnishment that I gave the company permission to garnish my wages. How do I get out of this, I wouldn't let the person talk to my boss, but I went to my boss before they called while I wasn't here. My boss is understanding..but how do I stop the calls, they say that come Monday it will be happening..and that I can't go to court when I told them I wanted to go to court. So, my husband and I got married in August, and we're trying to figure out how to file taxes this year. I have lived and worked in Minnesota all year, and will be here until April next year. He's in the military, stationed in CA, but in Iraq from Sept '07-April '08. Should we file jointly for federal taxes and separately for state taxes? Or is there some way to file jointly for both?

Also, he has already invested 4k in his Roth IRA this year, and I am thinking about starting mine as well. Can we each contribute the 4k if we file jointly for federal but separate for state?
Any help is much appreciated!

Everytime I call them the phone is busy until after 5 which of course is too late. If someone actually recieved this product please let me know or else I'm going to report this company to BBB...no matter if it is only $20 or so bucks if someone is offering a product they should deliver this product. It's not professional or good customer service.
