There are. But to be really helpful it would be better to know something of your interests. If its something that anyone can "start up and make money" then thre are probably already too many people trying to do it.
The best thing is to find a subject that you would enjoy putting time into even if it didnt make money. It can be an item, hobby, games, craft, sport, pet, country, sexual preference, any subject at all. :)
I can usually build off of that. Just one example...
The person had a love of hummingbirds. They decided to start a blog about it which had become popular. I helped her expand it to a web page. I connected them to sites that allowed commission sales on the hummingbird drawing equipment that she kept talking about. I hooked her up with a CafePress shop which let her create shirts, mugs, bumperstickers, posters, gift boxes, ornaments, greeting cards and sell them. Some were cute sayings, some were pictures she took. Eventually it grew into a full domain.
Thats just one example. It always depends on the subject, and the persons skills (graphic art, or good sales person, writing, music, design, good shopper, or maybe just highly motivated). Or other peoples skills (one person did all the above but based on her kids crayon art)
Its all small fish big pond or big fish small pond thinking. Dont look for a moneymaker then try to find one thats interesting. Look for an interest, then look for the moneymaker. Oh yeah, and all of those suggestions were free to start with options to expand into a pay-for version with more goodies if you prove to yourself that you can do something with it.

You got it! For get about it! All the fluff and Bull, that is. I searched forever spent way too much money..most all are scams. If there asking you for a bunch of money upfront you can bet on it being a scam. You can sell anything it just matters what people are buying, Is it a cash producing market? Is it going to last? Has it been Nationally advertised?
Real business takes work and effort.

Hello, Yes my husband and I have a home based internet business. I can't advertise it here because it's against the rules of this site. The start up cost is aprox $150 and you can spend as much or as little time as you like -- obviously to make it profitable though, you're going to have to spend some time. Send me an email if your interested, and I will respond with more details.

Hi - there are a few...
If you have ANY technical skills with a computer you should be able to run some adverts through Google AdSense. You won't make a fortune over night but you can build it up into a little cottage industry. Being able to write some good text helps with this a lot. Do a web search and you will get tonnes of info on this.

I wrote a blog about advice for working from home. There is a link in the 2nd paragraph of my profile here. It has some pretty good information in it on how to look, what to avoid, etc...
having a home based business is not a get rich quick thing like many claim in their ads or spams, however, over time, one can build a tremendous network and income. What I normally recommend for someone looking to create income from a home business is:
1. Dont quit your day job (or night job in your case.. lol)
2. Study what the business is really about and it's NOT selliing, hitting your friends and family up for business, etc... It's not calling 100 people you don't know a day and it't not spamming people with your deal on every group board, forum or social network..
3. Join a mentoring group of like minded individuals, learn the skills and then go out and find the perfect company for you.
4. Develope your business contacts while you work your other job....Once you develope your business to the point it has doubled your income, then quit your day job and only work your home business.
I am only as far as a phone or email, so never hesitate to contact me for any reason. I enjoy talking with people, watching them succeed, so let me know how things work for you.
~best to you.

I think this would be great for you.I will be honest there is a very minimal start up fee.But you aren't paying for an instruction page. You are starting with a really great team that supports and trains you right from the beginning. You are right to be wary of alot of on line stuff it is very easy to get scammed I know from personal experience. If you are interested in getting more information without the pushy salesperson approach I would be glad to help. You can email me. Good luck either way!

Go to www.luxurious-art.com and read upon this company. You're not actually staying home all day but the business is ran from the internet. Start up cost is not expensive at all.
If you need more info you can leave me a message on my web page.
Hope this helps.
