we have been looking for a new apartment and it seems like most of them will not let my husband, son and I move in because of a felony charge my husband has. its been years ago and its not even a violent/sexual felony charge he has...cant this be considered discrimination, since all housing here is equal opportunity housing?

it seems like on vanguard.com and fidelity.com, for all the mutual funds the performance significantly diminishes by the 10th year...

like past performance indicates on almost all of the funds from both sides a trend of 1 year: 14% 5: 13% 10: 7%

does this mean after 5 years i should cash in the money and put into another fund or somthing?

I am married with no children, property or deductions. This next year we will go from making about $15,000 a year to $40,000 or a little more. I have been told that since we don't have children we will probably have to pay in taxes instead of getting income tax back. Is this true?

I just took a job for a Network Support Specialist and I am close to having my degree in information technology. During my interview the director ask me if I could install software, change print cartridges, change internal pc hardware, and set up email accounts.

I can do all of the above and the pay is great but from the duties described doesn't the job actually sound like a simple Tech Support, or computer support specialist job?

Also the company has over 400 pc's but still to me this sounds like a cake job and will be very easy for someone with my experiance, what do you think?

BTW I am pumped about the job and can't wait till the first monday of January to start.

Ok so I've been working at this place for a while now. The only reason that I started working there is because I had family that worked there. I found out that I got paid every night and I was super happy. But then I found out why. There are so many illegal things going on with this place. It's a restruant. There is only one person in the entire business that actually gets a check with taxes taken out. The rest of us get paid under the table, the waitresses don't share tips, which I wouldn't mind but they don't do any of the work. Here are some more things this place is doing that is wrong:
-They save lemons and onions off of tables and reuse them
- They don't have set hours with set pay
- They constantly over work workers without extra pay
- They reuse food left over from the previous weeks

And that is just some of the things. If the IRS found out they weren't taxing pay, I know they could get in trouble. I'm tired of them getting away with this. How do I report them??

The place was paid in full last month. The final payment was sent with a letter asking for them to send us the title, which we will need in order to pay the taxes on the house. The people we bought it from have not sent the title and now all of the phone numbers for them that we have no longer work. Are we going to have to hire a lawer to take care of this?

A President and CEO of a company emailed me that he was impressed with my resume and asked me to come in for interview. So I did. He told m that out of around 100s of resume, my resume was one that attracted them. During the interview, he asked me, How is my computer skills. I said I am okay, good enough. He asked me what is my salary level desired. I told him whatever you posted on the website. That was just it. Then they asked me if I have any question. I told them not really and I told them that I would ask question as I work for them. If they liked my resume but they didnt ask too much question during the interview, will I mostly like to be hired? if you are boss what do you think? Any interview experiences?

Who would be interested in purchasing stock at $50 per share if they can purchase it for $40 per share?
